Do you want to try it out? I looked into it but couldn't tell if it would work since I didn't have anyone else to play with. My bros and I would like to play but they have yet to set this up.

I really like Arnor Gondor Rohan, but I can't play it on GameRanger. Thought this might be a nice alternative. No Arnor. Shouldn't be too hard to make it's own faction since it's already in the Epilogue.

What will it take to be able to play this mod on GameRanger?

It completely escaped me to simply add to the original target field!! That makes sense. It works now.

The base game works and so does 2.02 v9. I also performed a clean boot.

Just put this into google translate and realized I should try to run the lotrbfme2ep1 shortcut as administrator first. I have Windows 11 as well and the same issue comes up for me. Maybe it is the compatability settings... Last time I set this up under Windows 10 (I'm pretty sure) and didn't have issues. I just Set the shortcut to run as administrator every time, but that didn't work either. I have even tried to move the A&G&R files to my main C: drive, but that didn't work either. I also set the shortcut to compatability mode under windows 7, but it still didn't work.

Already posted this but can't see it and decided to make it more clear: I keep getting an error saying the file path in the target area isn't valid. If I remove (" -mod ) then the file location is recognized, but that turns my shortcut into a shortcut for the folder, not as a mod for the game. What's happening here? Can you SET UP this mod with any configuration, I'm not talking about the ability to play.

For some reason my file path isn't working. Is that because I simply extracted the zipped file instead of using something like WinRar? I think where I put the file isn't recognized.

I'm trying to figure out the same thing. It seems as though RJ is a stand alone mod from 2.02 mods. Maybe they never had to mess with "cracking the game" since it is close enough to vanilla, thus no need for 2.02. However, maybe RJ's version of 2.02 is already built in.

I'm wondering the same thing. Is there any way to have RJ and, say, AOTR installed (using patch switcher)?

You can change the rotwk mod switcher to 2.01, even if you updated to 2.02 from 2.01.

I just downloaded EDAIN and made sure the mod Switcher was set at 2.01 and also mounted a virtual drive so I can play the game without a CD. Edain doesn't work with the no CD patch. At this point the game worked just fine, but I started messing with ISO's and DVD's and the load error happened. Maybe it would be best to uninstall the mod and start over, but any other thoughts?

Are the ents as strong as the giants? That would be legit and consistent with the books. Otherwise there's a major imbalance between the factions. ALSO, Rohan can't receive a custom hero. Can you guys fix that? At times that would make things imbalanced. I also think the royal guard should be able to toggle ride horses, otherwise Rohan dont got much going for it.
