- Updated to RotWK Patch 2.02 v9.0.0.
- Create a hero for Rohan. Select your hero by pressing the first letter on your keyboard and pressing on the hero's name.
- Classic textures vs new textures. (Arnor and 2nd age Gondor)

- Arnor and Rohan can now get the Collector's Edition Graphics upgrade.
- Collector's Edition Graphics can now be activated on every map.

- Updated Rohan banner carrier model.
- Updated Rohan Soldier Forged Blades hue.
- All evil factions receive red forged blades. Angmar receives purple.

- Draft was added to the Rohan fortress. It allows Rohan to recruit Peasants from the farm. This upgrade is there to prevent players and AI from spamming peasants very early in the game.
- Iron ore can be acquired from the armory. It reduces the cost of unit upgrades.
- Grand harvest is a spell added to the Rohan spell book. It will boost resource production for one farm at a time.
- Arnor's Enshrouding Mist was replaced with Lone tower spell.
- Arnor's Flood spell was replaced with Earthquake.
- Arnor can recruit Imladris warriors from the inn.
- Gondor can recruit Rohirrim from the inn.
- Rohan can recruit Hobbits from the inn.
- Replaced the Elven units which can be summoned by Arnor from the spell book with Lindon warriors.
- Restored the Knights Shield and Rohirrim Shield upgrades.
- Visual improvements. Unit textures, icons and portraits.
- General tweaking and balancing. Especially for Arnor and Rohan heroes.
- Updated heavy armor texture for all factions.
- Removed the extra units that were added in the previous version.

Good update. Think the changes are better in line with the initial goal of this mod way back.
Still think Gondor should have spearmen and the Fountain Guard should be more elite.

I agree in principle, but I believe it will be a distraction. Meaning we will see the tower guards less often on the battlefield and in a quick match not at all.
I prefer to have it like it was in bfme 1 and 2. Gondor will be fielding it's elite pikemen against cavalry and monsters.

Most likely a patch issue. Make sure 2.02 v9 is active and try again.
Nah man the patch v9 is running ok. I was thinking to make a shortcut from lotrbfme2ep1v9 but the instructions says to use lotrbfme2ep1. Is it wort of trying lotrbfme2ep1v9 instead?

Do you have other mods installed before? Something sitting above ####2.02v9.0.0.big?
So I tried to use lotrbfme2ep1v9 shortcut but it did not worked.
There is only some 202new music and 202 timers big files above the ####2.02v9.0.0.big itself but I think those came along with the patch. Thanks for the answers tho, I maybe try to re-install whole rotwk after the holidays.
The regular shortcut works fine for me.

Ok, so try one more thing before you reinstall everything. Open the patch launncher and check which version is active. Select 2.02 v9.0.0 and activate it. Then run the mod shortcut.
Hello, just an update. Everything works ok now. Found out the issue was that I made some adjustements to ini.big file before I installed your mod. Apparently it did not liked the changes I made. After putting back the original ini.big file everyting runs ok. The mod itself is amazing, thanks for it man!

Sorry, no can do. I did it once before and those a**holes on YouTube gave me a warning and claimed my video was showing people how to crack the game and therefore a violation. When it was a simple how to instal video.

Hello, I read your introductions of installing your mod from the images and it doesn't seem to work. I created a new shortcut and copy the file address for the link for the properties setting and changed the name and the icon and keeps playing or lunching the vanilla version of LOTR, Rise of the Witch-King game. Can you tell me what I’m doing wrong in the installment?

For some reason my file path isn't working. Is that because I simply extracted the zipped file instead of using something like WinRar? I think where I put the file isn't recognized.
