You will be able to add RenX specific actors to your map once we release renx-standalone (or even the development-kit). So you can go ahead and make a map.

Bots will be spawned (if your server config allows it), like it was in UT3 once we add bots (not sure atm. if they make it in the first release). If you are talking about singleplayer bots and singleplayer maps, you can go ahead and start your map, once Black Dawn is released you could easely add them.

You have the wrong version, please make sure its 0.55 and not 0.5! It wont try to update if its really 0.55 only if you use any other versions.

You may have installed it wrong. There are some topics about that problem in our support forums.

-> Seems for me like you start UT3 (or UT3 is been started by the Frontend) and then you try to download all mod files (wich will take you long, very long!). If you are using the provided frontend make sure you installed in the right folder (...\<YourUserName>\Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\Renegade), if you are using a steam version, make sure you've added "-applaunch 13210 -mod=..\Renegade -solomod" to the start params.

I think the problem is you havent installed Renegade-X in the right direction, if you want to use the frontend you need to install the mod in the default users-profile location (wich is: "<UserName>\Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3").
But you can also use shortcuts if you cant install it in the def. Location.

its a UT3 mod at all.. but the UT3 menue is like the Renegade menue! Arent they all the same? Just scenes with buttons... :D

I got on my machine about 10-20fps less then in normal UT3, since with the latest patches its been really faster (on full settings, nearly everything enabled).

We haven't spend much time on increasing performance, but once we have the time, we definitely will.

First of all Tanks, GDI got the better tanks ingame (Mammoth, Med-Tank, even humvee is better then the Nod-Buggy).
The base defense is well balanced, there is no need to change this. You need to play more CCR :-).
