i think u need to have css downloaded, i dont own it but it works with it being pre loaded and steam/nvidia (idk) is giving away hl2 dm for free

my game is weird... all the combine are unarmed and are there hl2 model, zombies are there ordinary hl2 mdl and drop alienvspredator head humpers, fast zombies are mossmen's ;_; , barrels explode when i drop them with use, impulse 101 doesnt give me the m16 or shotgun and it crashes with the first part where u see the chopper due to a lot of zombies (over flow). all i can say so far thats wrong

isntalled the patches in order, open the rar file and emptied it into source mods, over righted any thing the patch wanted too. on the keyboard settings all i changed was controls ingame and fixed teh next/previous weapon thing with the mouse wheel

the black screen... i installed everything in its order, started the game up and tweaked the keyboard keys to my normal smod settings, set mouse to 8 sensetivity, turned game volume down a little, turned dificulty to easy, started the game up. black screen with a crossair and it seems to respond to light a little and parts blink white liek a strobe. i have css installed but do not own it, i have tried this mdo with my uncles account who owns css, same problem.

my screen stays black when i play, i have a crossair and a hud but nothing shows on my screen. i can do everything but see anything, any help here? i installed in the correct order, i cant see the gman during his sequence, and my screen acts like a strobelight all the time no matter what level i start up on.

its like a blind person mod. any help here? i turned briteness to full, my screen does the strobes for the gmod into but i dont see anything
