Decent game, but Desura doesn't offer the latest version?
Whenever I try to join a multiplayer game, I get a notice saying that I'm not running the latest version?
Highly enjoyable, and very well polished. I just wish motorsep would release the DLC content through Desura.
Overall, a great remake of the classic Quake 3 Arena. Enjoy the arena reborn with OpenArena, powered by ioquake3.
I originally played this game for the first time on the Dreamcast, back in the early 2000s. Even then, on that underappreciated system, the game was amazing, even featuring online play, a new feature for console games that early. After the demise of the Dreamcast, I moved my Quake 3 addiction over to the PC, and that's where I've been every since. More than a decade later, it's still my go-to game for when I have a few minutes. When I reinstall Windows or Linux on any of my computers, it's still one of my first five applications I install. Excellent game, highly recommended.
