I have never played the original Deus Ex, but I have played it's sequel, and absolutely loved it. However, I started playing Deus Ex a while back, but then noticed this project being in the works, then vowed not to bother playing the original until either: the project finishes, or it dies completely. This is looking quite impressive so far, and I can't wait to see how it turns out in the end.

I haven't played SS yet, but I know this:
System Shock was made in 1999...
Battle For Middle Earth was made last YEAR. Umm, yeah. There's probably gonna be major differences as far as graphics, gameplay relevancy, and all of the above go.

Think you guys'll do a multiplayer component to combat Thievery? ;-)
