That's great news! Really appreciate your candid response.
Amazing work, keep it up.
I'm confused, are the constant screenshot uploads signifying progress being made (IE, scripting what you can at the moment), or is just to remind people the mod is alive while you look for a scripter?
Have you considered releasing armor/weapons as an OSP?
Great to see work has restarted. Excellent material already showing up. Can't wait for skirmish!
One suggestion I have is to review the available items. I feel there are a lot of redundant items. The item bloat doesn't add much to the game.
Funny thing, if you're in the AF and call it a thunderbolt people (anyone who works with the aircraft like pilots/crew/intel) might think you're a nerd. In conversation it's warthog, hog, or A-10 if you're fancy. Of course not everyone cares that much. It's like calling a weapon magazine a clip. Drives some people crazy.
Pumping out updates, everything looks amazing. Great stuff. Pretty hype for next release, even if it was a visual upgrade only release.
From the title I thought this was going to be an update with the new russian models and nothing else (which I was 110% ok with)!
It's probably an 'updated' version of the yamato.
Yesssss Troll 2 quote.
Excellent stuff though. I love seeing the creative process.
I don't have Napolean Total War. :(
* Checks Steam *
Napolean Total War is 75% off (making it 3.74) until 8.26.
Steam literally just read my mind.
Does the Russian blackout node work against AI? It says it blocks the use of general powers and superweapons but the AI continues to use both right next to my towers, well within the green radius.
Oh I know. I was just attempting to reinstate the old challenge mode and run through it with the vanilla ROTR factions.
I was able to load generals challenge menu, and can see the only two available generals are the ECA and Russia, unfortunately when they load they load to black screens.
If I wanted to play the current ECA and Russian factions in general challenge how difficult would that be to mod? I figure there is a 'switch' somewhere to turn on general mode and to add generals.
I just wanted to say No PopCap is a beautiful thing and thank you for making it an option.
Yes but it is super not fun when the AI spams them. The only consistent counter beyond air strikes are paladins.
Even the mobile mortars the US gets don't have the range of the chinese one.
Why is the chinese mortar so much farther ranged than anything in the US arsenal? It's really frustrating when the AI spams them.
I want to like this mod, but it suffers from severe item bloat and questionable balance. Items =/= realism.
At first, I really liked the idea of repair kits. "Oh, I open my repair kit, which surely isn't disposable after one use. But I see I get a bonus for using it in conjunction with disposable items like oil and lube and stuff! How neat and intuitive!" LOL nope it's all one use.
Yes, a thousand times this. Not only is an abundance of frankly redundant items, but the micromanagement goes far beyond realism and ends up a chore.
Nvm, figured out it. Unfortunately I do have the issue as others where I blind myself.
Same, press the L key and it turns off instantly.
They were aiming for a release this summer but Furok has (according to forums?) been busy with real life stuff so guarantee.
Time spent on the RMC would be better spent on the Ostheer (and SU). They're fun but not quite there yet.
So I feel like I should be able to upgrade my concrete bunkers to have AA guns but even with the fortification doctrines it never works. Which might be a feature, but it kinda makes the 'fortification' doctrine average. You only get one extra fortification building.
What Im trying to say is that the fortification doctrine doesn't seem that great as one of the other doctrines gets artillery too.
Also when will we get the Stormtiger?
Just loaded this up on my clean install of SupCom2.
Crashes 1v1 Corva Chasm UEFvsAeon five minutes into game around the same time. No action I took set it off as far as I can tell.
Is the lannister armor in game yet?
New animations for muskets yet?
How difficult would it be to reactivate the Generals Challenge and just play it with the basic EU or Russian faction? I don't need Russian or EU generals.
Will new animations be in 1.4? For muskets?
Haha my mistake I meant Galactic Conquest the first time. I've found some tutorials but see that the XMLs for Skirmish provided in this mod's download reference imperial/rebel units. I'm worried that copy-paste from skirmish to GC wouldn't be sufficient (I.E., drag all the models, tex, etc and copy-paste XML and other code).
