Thank you so much for the detailed update, really looking forward to the release...I am more excited about this that 95% of the commercial releases, nothing compares to the Stalker series and this might be the closest we will get to a "new" Stalker game for the foreseeable future

This mod rock BTW it makes SoCh feel like a brand new game...still a,ittle bit punishing on the damage ratio and the resale values but awesome jts the same

I am kind of confused with the patching process; should I just delete the gamedata files, reinstall the whole mod and apply this patch? I just want the foolproof way without having to guess if I am using static light or whatever....

Why not do a Kickstarter? According to the Kickstarter system you are not paying for a game your are donating money and getting a game in return for your donation, They could do a Kickstarter and get at least 5,000 to 10,000 $20 donations to finish the game and the release free to everybody to keep the non profit deal they have with GSC. Perhasp the backers could get something extra but as things stand I am losing hope fast...by next year they might have a buyer for the Stalker franchise who might not look as kindly on giving away their Alpha build
