The NVA MiG has seen better days... once, it used to be king of the skies of Europe and Korea, a lean, mean fighter jet from the era of runways and old school dogfighting, when airborne radar was nearly mythical, heat seeking missiles just a theory, and the only number that mattered was top speed. Boasting a single huge engine, two high velocity cannons, and a pod of rockets, in it's day the MiG Nine could put down any other plane foolish enough to challenge it.
However, the MiG's glory days are well over. NVA MiG-9s, purchased from the surplus stocks of the post-war Soviet Union or knockoffs built from crudely stamped parts, are well outclassed in the modern era. VTOL fighters outclimb and outmaneuver them, while runway fighters leave it in the dust and have a considerably longer range to boot. This is not to say the MiG-9 is ineffective, but they must be deployed carefully. The NVA carefully regulates the deployment of their precious stock of fighters, ensuring they are used only in the most secure airspaces, or the most desperate battles.

Sketch already knows my opinion on this as I can no longer talk anymore.
The nose is a little stubby - and by that I mean the cone inside the intake. maybe intentional, but if not, just lengthen the cone.
Otherwise, kickass. Good work team.

Kinda ironical how the MiG-9 looks newer/more advanced/high tech then the RA3 MiG.
Ugh, not really. Looks old, less advanced/low tech. But I do admit it is cooler.
it looks more advanced but rusty. It looks like a MiG-21 (with a tint of Su-37) while the RA3 mig looks like a P-38 that made love to a MiG-15.
Needless to say one is a mix of relative new designs, while the others are way older.
wowo, looks great, cant wait to use it. Aircraft are my strangth in any cnc game.
Too bad most CnCs had barely any airforce. Only ZH and RA1 and RA3 had enough airpower.
