People need to understand that Many games on Steam don't actually use DRM. While they need to be installed through steam, a lot of games can be run directly from the executable without having to even open steam. You can in fact, download the games, move the game folder, uninstall steam if you want, and then play your games to your hearts content. I've even transfered games from computer to computer doing this and have had no issues.

I understand that some people may not want to deal with the client, which is understandable, But this myth about all games on steam having DRM is ridiculous when a good majority of them don't even use it.

From the Paradox Forums: Forum.paradoxplaza.com

"Teleglitch: Die More Edition contains Steamworks and any pre-orders bought from various DD platforms will need to be activated on Steam. The pre-order campaign will last approximately 3 weeks with Steam joining the campaign with the same content on release day."

Like I said, The game will not show up in your game library, store or the forums til its actual release date. It has to already be in their database because you wouldn't even be able to activate the key if it was not.. You can check your account history after you've activated the code and see it there but you won't see it in your actual games list til release day.

If the game key can be activated on steam, then that means they already added it to their database. It's not going to show up in your game library til the actual release date. Pre-Order doesn't mean you get the game early. Plus they've had the summer sale all week which is why they it hasn't shown up in the Steam Store yet.

That's false, I can play plenty of UDK games on max settings with only about $600 worth of hardware in my PC. For some Reason though, this game lags like hell when using DX11 but plays fine on DX9. I can play plenty of other games with DX11 on max settings no problem but for some reason this game lags. I alt tabbed out of the game and noticed that it was only using one core of my CPU so maybe that could be a problem. But personally, I don't think the game looks any different between using DX9 and DX11.

I'm actually willing to buy this if it wasn't for the Needing to be constantly connected to the internet. Come on people, I won't even touch Diablo III because of it either and now this? Even Ubisoft finally changed that ridiculous ****. There's no logical reason for it and its just going to detract people. Plus its unfair to those of us who have poor internet connections.

So I'm confused, Do you need to connect to the server just to play single player? My internet sucks when it comes to playing games and I mainly just want to play single player anyways. And what does Single player consist of so far? I don't want to buy the game just yet if there's a chance that I won't be able to play it or if there's not a whole lot of content for single players yet.
