Teleglitch Windows Demo
Dec 4, 2012 Demo 1 commentThis demo contains the first 4 levels of the full version.
Teleglitch is a roguelike top-down shooter with pixel graphics. The game takes place in procedurally generated military research & training complex that has a different map every time you play. Our mission is to give players like you a chance to walk in the dark corridors, gripping their gun and few last rounds of ammunition. To play with finger on the trigger, high on adrenaline. We want to give you the, paranoid, sweaty, and bloody hard kind of fun.
See the future where humanity is controlled by cold, dark mega-corporations. One of them is Miliary Technology Incorporated (aka Militech), one of the world's largest military research organizations, specializing in necrotic tissue reactivation and nonhuman combatants (zombies, cloned battle organisms, robots etc). Far out in the edge of colonized space lies Medusa 1-C, a cheap planet with lethal atmosphere. There is only one building on the entire planet: a huge military research & training complex. Unfortunately, something goes very wrong in that base. All you know is that most of the facility personnel have been killed, microchipped and reactivated as combatants by the central processing AI of the facility. Except for yourself, a scientist with an incredibly strong will to survive.
Features:
Everything scientifically accurate, of course.

Enjoy Teleglitch and many other great games on Desura.

Missing a save feature, but so much fun. The game is one of the most immersive I've played in a long time. It can be challenging if you just run, but if you take your time and plan your moves you'll have success.

Yeah, I tried your demo off your website and nice "tutorial". The text says doors open and terminals have info. And then the room I am in has "doors" that don;t open and "terminals" with no info and I'm stuck in a room with zero to do. What's up with that? Fun fun fun! :(
it feels like a top down soldat in the way the weapons and character move. good fun, i'm glad i took a punt on it. (Thanks for the linux love as well. :) )
your game apear amazing!, when i get my money(dunno the name in english) i'll buy it,sry for bad english
Any else having a speed issue running the game? I'm using a 2gtz CPU with 2 gb ram
Hi, I once emailed you guys about IndieGameStand and you guys replied back to me saying that you were under negotiations with your publisher. How's that going?
We'll do an announcement about that eventually. Can't say much more right now.
sounds vague but promissing ;)
I think it's quite clever that they used giant black 3d walls to simulate the line of sight without any actual raytracing.
Any plans for Mac support? This game looks amazing.
When I exit I get the exit message - white font over a black screen and then the screen goes black and stays black and it won't exit back to Windows, like it's still in dos and won't leave dos and gets stuck. Though I'm not sure it's a dos based game (prob not). I try to Ctrl Alt Delete and still no response. Just a black screen - so I have to hard reboot. I play many games both in Steam and independent of Steam and this has never happened to me before. I'm not saying it's necessarily the game, I guess it could be the PC but since it never happened before I thought it could be a glitch and didn't know if others were having the same problem. It would seem not. I played other games afterwards and it was fine. I don't overclock my card so I doubt it's that. Sucks because I want to play the Demo without worry and possibly buy the game. It looks pretty cool! I'll look into it a little more tonight but any suggestions would be great. Thanks!
