Republic at War

This mod is very fun to play, and makes use of quite a few new and exciting features that I haven't seen utilized in an FOC mod before. When comparing it to other clone wars era-specific mods, it rises above all of them. When it comes to mods, the better mod isn't the one with the most units, because even I can add units in like 5 seconds. The best mods are those that perfectly combine the relative simplicity of vanilla FOC, and also strive to be unique and as realistic as possible. This mod is both of those things. RaW doesn't have an overwhelming amount of units/structures/planets, nor is it your run-of-the-mill clone wars mod.
What makes this mod wonderful is its attention to detail. There are no outright glitches that I could find, no EXCEPTION ERRORS (nice!) and no modeling/skinning/mapping issues. There are, however, an unprecedented amount of creatures, species, buildings, plants, the list goes on. The galaxy created by the RaW team is the most Star Wars-like galaxy seen in modding so far.
I also have to mention the command post feature in the Skirmish Mode. To put it simply, it makes Skirmish Mode actually fun for the first time.
All that being said, there is one slightly major problem that I found. I can imagine that you've heard this a lot in the time since RaW 1.1 was released. I'm referring of course, to the balancing issue. Specifically, the CIS are overpowered compared to the Republic. I can win as the Republic, even on hard difficulty. But when it gets to the point where I can beat an entire galactic conquest with 4 spider walkers and 4 Munificent frigates, it gets a little ridiculous. I've been resisting the urge to go in and fix it myself, holding onto the hope that the mod developers will change this in version 1.2.
This mod goes into my top 5 FOC mods along with Phoenix Rising, Attack of the Rebellion, Alliance 4.2, and Imperial Civil War.

Congratulations on the start of one of the best mods created for FOC :)
