Dunno, MW4 looked more convincing for me back then. I just find it amazing how they managed to make the Mechs look reasonable, like they would fit IRL.
Funny thing is, that even in terms of aesthetic pleasure, CBT designs do not appeal me as much as military-style, badass MW4 mechs.

But now, as I looked through them all here, the only mech that still bugs the crap outa me is Atlas. Well, it's not surprising, since only MW4 had a reasonable design. But as I've heard, mw4 design are somewhat copyrighted.

Anyway, though it's buggering me a lot, it's acceptable.

I was talking about some early Classic BT designs drawn in the 80s that IMO didn't make sense (Atlas is example), just like gundams that do not make any.
Note that I didn't state that they look exactly like gundams (that would be silly as hell), I just implied that, in my opinion, MW4 designs make much more sense and are superior to CBT.

This is what crysis worth buying for.
But the ting I will probably never be able to deal with are CBT designs, as I found them utterly ridiculous (that's me being a long time BT fan). It remains a mystery for me what do they CBT geeks found in older designs... Oh yeah, nostalgia.
But nevertheless, as much as everybody hates M$ (I do suspect that's the main reason for hatin MW4), MW4 had MUCH reasonable, militaristic design. Mechs simply look BADASS in MW4, while CBTs are pretty much like gundams from them animes...
