I reckon that the "incorrectly-used military jargon" one is the Cerberus. Sounds like a comical programming error to me, evidently BAE forgot to replace their placeholder files with actual UN advertising before shipping the units out. Totally agree about the Brummbar's accent though.

That's some very interesting backstory there. I'm glad that you didn't play the cliched terrorist movement card for any of the factions. It's good to have legitimate, believable (if somewhat zany in UN's case, and I'm pretty sure an organisation like GOI backed by newly democratic states wouldn't use suicide bombers, but hey, small issues) groups fighting each other.

Well, this is an amusing development. Not very amusing, but slightly. Nice try Carnios.

I'm going to give you a nice sciencey answer, because I thought about this. The current zone troopers have a reinforced canopy protecting their heads, and maybe a combat helmet too. This is naturally going to provide more protection than just a helmet. Furthermore, the helmet would require inbuilt life-support functions other than the ones already present in the suit's contained atmosphere, meaning higher costs, and more danger to the trooper, as this will mean less protective equipment due to space constraints, as there is only so much weight you can stick in a helmet before people's necks start suffering critical existence failures.

... This is a joke, right? As in, you're joking about putting the helmet-less zone troopers in this mod, right?. Please be joking, or I might have to find a corner and cry...

Well then, my apologies. I misunderstood the purpose of your post. I don't know whether it's good or bad news if this is being ported to KW. Means a longer wait potentially, but will the quality of the final product be improved for it? I hope so.

Well the avatar was controversial enough, according to canon, seeing as so much of it was "robot." I think it says somewhere that they have to be blessed by a high confessor or something, because even though it's piloted by a human, Nod doesn't trust the hugely advanced machine side of it not to go rogue like CABAL, or be taken over by a similarly malignant digital entity.

TBH repair drones could in fact be controlled remotely from inside the structure. Also, if we are following the "no robotics" rule then I'll assume (as I always had) that Nod defences are manned in some way, rather than being machines under the control of a computer (AKA robots).
Also, true say by rcp90, though I still think it would've have been a much less controversial statement by EA to say that it was controlled remotely, like drones as we know them in modern-day militaries.

I know he mis-spelled a word, but it is amusing that he did so while accusing somebody else of incoherence, while simultaneously making his statement equally incoherent. Of course we all understand the underlying meaning of what they're saying, but what I was pointing out was less the fact of the mistake, and more the fact that he made it while rather bluntly stating the lack of coherence in the post of a peer.

This is what is known as irony. I was pointing this out. It is mildly amusing.
If it helps, next time I will be less subtle and explain every comment beforehand rather than try to explain it later.
