Why hasn't the active Steam community got access to the BK page, considering they're all disbanded.
Hey, Burton after watching your Alpha Gameplay, and in regards to balancing I have a few ideas that could help. Some of these may be invalid due to the work you've done since that time however.
ABILITIES (Faction Trees, Unit Specific, and Technological)
- Zombies can camouflage in green cover, this would allow for ambushing of high veterancy, or good human units.
- An ability, not unlike the propaganda ability in VCoH which causes human units to retreat in fear.
UNIT TYPES
- A zombie type which is especially resilient to bullet fire, wearing bullet-proof vests or the like?
DEFENSES
Zombie defenses, now this one is a challenge however I have a few ideas.
- Camouflaged traps, similar to trenches, the Zombie create a nest of leaves in which they wait for unsuspecting humans. As a human soldier passes near, the zombie reaches out and instant kills.
- Concentrated Infection, in which the piece of ground has been infected to such a degree, any human passing over it inhales the fumes and will die. Therefore, theoretically acting as landmines.
- Zombies pile the corpses of humans which have not converted to their ranks, therefore causing a barrier, therefore acting as barb wire.
OTHER
- Zombies can create forward HQ's, somehow?
- A building, an ability, or tech, that allows dead enemy soldiers to be recruited amogest your ranks of the undead. Similar to medic stations creating healthy, and full squads.
- Also, unrelated to zombies, you should make the Bandits have a mobile HQ, which would make more sense considering they would be always on the move from Zombies, and Military groups.
How have you handled the copyright, regarding the game.
