Yes there are always multiple full servers with 20+ people each no matter what time of day/where you live.

There arent a lot of Aussie servers though, due to how they handle bandwith there.

Did you put in your code from your email on kag2d.com after you log in to your account? If so, some people are experiencing this. It is a bug of some sort. The devs have been gone to the Game Developers Conference, but should address this as soon as they are back.

Same for me on my desktop with a dedicated card and my old laptop with integrated graphics.

There is a tutorial file in the KAG directory that gives the basic contols, aside from that ask polietly in gamewhat you should be doing as your respective class adn someone should help you out.

The game is experiencing a huge influx of players at the moment. So many that the authentication server is being overwhelmed so they are temporarily bypassing the authentication server while they work on it.

The devs have to make money to afford to support the game. Go to a local store/food market/pharmacy and buy a prepaid credit card.

Its safe to use. Thats from the DFHack program that a lot of the supporting programs use to "hack" into DF while its already running and gather data. Some scanners flag it.
