There's one thing that bothers me about Essence, and it's the music. IMHO I prefer the vanilla music over the more classical feel of essence. Same with a lot of the sounds for stuff like explosions.
Maybe add an option changing between the 2 music variants?

I have a problem,
When trying to launch the "AIX_" maps like AIX_Trident I crash and don't even get an error report.
