I'm having the same problem. To but sometimes it does work but sometimes it crashes during the gameplay and sometimes while loading.

Have you stop making the mod?

Dude...Just extract the rar files to (C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods) I'm running Windows XP so it should be like that if that isn't try to find the mod folder in the battlefield folder. Once you extracted the beta 2 in the mods folder you should see a folder named: Combat. There is a exe in there called combat, make a shortcut to your desktop so you don't have to keep going it to the mods folder. with all that completed, extract the patch and combat 2.5 in the COMBAT FOLDER (located in the mods folder)and replace the other folders with the new ones. And when that's done go to your desktop and click on the shortcut i told you to make before. And the game should open up. First of all im only 13 and i don't get how you grown ups cant install something this simple -_- anyway have fun and enjoy the mod the 7Game made.
