It was already like that in vanilla. There's one just sitting in a hidden room with a hole in the floor. You have to go to him because he doesn't move.
See this is where I start to wonder, because even on the older way more buggy version, this kind of thing never happened to me. The mod as a whole, despite the experience other people were having, actually ran really well for me. I never experienced this or all the CTDs people mentioned. I don't know if it responds differently to settings different people already have or what. It's really odd.

Yeah I agree with the animations. I feel that the ShoC animations were better than the CS and CoP ones. And I feel that Misery is, to an extent, held back by the CoP animations.

While I do agree with what you're saying about the armor, it also seems that each set is an entire outfit he puts on over/instead of his normal clothes.

Well that could just mean that that room, for whatever reason, doesn't provide cover from emissions. I had the same problem in OL for the first game. It seems they just forgot to make some places count as cover.
In this case I would just find another place to hide.
I think you have to use it before the big shockwave hits you and then try to get to cover before the next one.
Or just use one for each shockwave if you have that many :P
I think that's also why they don't cause you to pass out anymore.
Ahh I believe in the new Misery, anabiotics only protect from one 'emission'; one 'emission' being those big orange shockwaves. that happen 3-4 times during a blowout.
That's what I've heard anyway.
