Perhaps they chose the models based on the highest quality that still fitted into the correct style, rather than the type of car they were replacing.

Thanks for your detailed comment, we will definitely check out 'The Big Sleep'
We certainly plan to include all those elements familiar in the noir detective genre. Our current story does include these things, so hopefully you'll be pleased closer to completion.
At the moment however, we're focusing on the art side of things to make it presentable. But once its at a level we're happy with, including the above elements will be a priority.
Thanks again for your comment :)
Thanks, our modeler has got some basic characters ready, the real trick however is getting it rigged correctly to Unreal's skeleton, hopefully we'll have an example soon.
There appears to be a trail/blur effect on the maces and hammers in Warband during the attack animation. I think it would compliment a lightsaber fairly easily with minimal effort required.
Looking forward to the final release, thanks for your time and commitment.
I'm getting major Killzone vibes from the video. Particularly due to the way the weapon shifts to the right during reloading.
It looks amazing though, very professional.
How big is your team?
How do you guys get matte materials looking so great?
Every time I apply a plain material to an object I see the light map and it comes out all blotchy!
Looking good, keep up the great work.
How did you go about setting up the skeleton for the raptor?
I'm struggling with adapting the base skeleton to non humanoid characters.
Read the article in PCPP,
Best of luck guys. Everything I've heard sounds good.
