The mod currently in beta shows much promise. All the main historical characters are there in a semi-historical context. Troop trees are unique to each faction and give interest to army construction. Many external scenes have been done with an extraordinary attention to detail.

Yet to do: interior scenes, text (maybe it just needs to be translated). If I hadn't read the FAQ here, I would not know how to pursue the main quest line. The quest nature is important to know; my game has ground to a halt, all kingdoms at peace, perhaps because I never joined a faction.

As a fan of the novel and old Koei games, I look forward to further developments.
