If you put the half filled mag on your belt (select 5, if you have a weapon drawn allready) and pull the trigger, and switch to main/secondary weapon right after the ricochet comes - You will have an empty mag, and the un-used ammunition in your inventory.

It's a bit of a pickle, since you end up with a load of clips to "circumvent" to get any form of order in ones inventory.

yet its the only way i've expirienced to handle the clips.

I dont think its the vram mate. Your card has more than enough - But when it does crash, try and make a txt file and paste into that. Im sure that Mr.ff would appriciate the log. Perhaps its not even your end, but ghosts in the code :)

It uses below 1gb vram, at 1920@1080 with all cranked up to max.

Sorry mate it's me beeing thick, its -noprefetch not -prefetch.

So it looks something like this; "yourharddrive:\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl\bin\XR_3DA.exe" -noprefetch -nointro

Appologies.

About the 2gb vram, without any texture mods installed, that shouldnt be it - I'll try and play a bit with afterburner running, see how much vram it uses.

I'm really really liking the immersion you've achived with zoa - applause.

But a few things that one could perhaps ask if possible to add later ?

I'm really missing an indicator on fire select - Nothing bums me more atm, than lining up a perfect shot - then the travel puts me off target, and I have to realign through the recoil. when all I needed was a single shot. And vice versa beeing jumped by something, trying to put a clip down range, to only find im in semi >.<

I'm allso enjoying counting shots, but perhaps a indicator on weight on the hud ? example 3,2kg'ish for rifle, and then let's say the average weight of a 5.56 mag is 500g (if I remember correct) so a total of 3,7kg and it goes down to 3,2 as you put the beans down range. This aint something vital though, its really the fire select, that would be awsome to have a visual indicator on.

Perhaps im dreaming, and such aint possible. But was thinking on indicators, that would'nt dump the immersion down, nor make it a cakewalk.

Really liking the mod though, a few hickups - but thats expected with the amount of "stuff" that you've put in there. It's bloody great!

EDIT: ohh btw. Is it possible to make loose rounds into boxed ammo ? Cause I've got carpal tunnel syndrome, and the clicking makes me feel like its Diablo launch anno '96 all over again :)

Greetings FatalFunnel.

To start off, really enjoying your mod - Cant say that much atm though, since im at a new game. But it really "feels" good :)

But alas im at somewhat of a pickle, since theres a slight issue with the game crashing. Report provided;

Expression : fatal error
Function : CScriptEngine::lua_error
File : E:\ stalker \ patch_1_0004 \ xr_3da \ xrGame \ script_engine.cpp
Line : 73
Description : <no expression>
Arguments : LUA error: ....r. - shadow of chernobyl \ gamedata \ scripts \ _g.script:1222: bad argument #2 to 'format' (string expected, got no value)

The issue at hand lies in, that I'm getting a crash when trying to load "last game" I've changed the Fov via scripts - nothing else. So im slightly puzzled on to why it "drops" me out of game.

If it's a fault40, appologies - If not, I hope that it's something that can be remedied.

Meekx - - 9 comments @ MISERY

I'm trying really hard, not to be an arse, and i'll try and phraise it the best way I can.

I appreciate the concept Misery is, what it tries to mimic kinda lies in the name; Missery, I love that concept - It suits the zone imho (I would though like to give a hand raise, upon that bloody great idea of changing seasons. What a great thought!)

I personaly think that if people would like a different "setting" perhaps they should do as countless other have allready said, mod it with one of the great packages. Or perhaps try and do a mod themselfs - I tried, I gave up. Hence I appreciate the myriade of great productions, that great modders have made for us lazy basterds.

I know this post does'nt do squad, actualy it's perhaps just another peg in the bonfire - But I personaly find it a tad strange, even find it on the border of insulting/offensive towards persons who dedicate their personal time to us, to wander into someone elses portfolio of hardwork, and say; hey! know what ? I think that what you do, is basicly the exact opposite of what I want!

In such a case, it's pretty bloody simple to just seek one of the other mods out there! (Go look at David.m.e's account, great mods there)

Well.. that was a rambling :s appologies.

What my original thought was, was to say cheers for the hard work, commitment - and that I look forward to the end product.

Ohh and btw, appologies for any gramatical errors, it aint my native tongue.

Tak.

EDIT:

I do appreciate, that we all think different - and that there's so many thoughts upon everything.

I reckon that everything, even thoughts on matters towards how a game should be/look like, is like beauty - It's all in the eyes of the beholder.
