Sgt MK IV, thank you for a great job you keep doing! With this release Brutal Doom is greater than ever and i've not experienced any bugs so far (except that one time when every fatality turned any monster into imp, but i couldn't replicate that). New vehicles are amazing, and balancing is spot-on. It feels like kick reach was increased, that's great if true. I would still like to be able to kick during reload though. Fatalities and cruelty bonuses spawning at monster instead of being given to player is a great change also
However, i'd like to give a little feedback on a new feature - quick pistol pull. It's great idea, and makes a lot of sense, but is almost useless, since in most of campaigns player doesn't run out of ammo AND in situation where pistol could save them. However, there's a lot of potential in a function like that if it was to be turned into Half-Life type "last used weapon" function. That would help a lot to navigate in doomguy's cyclopic arsenal, and be ready to face unexpected circumstances quickly. Select-and-confirm weapon selection option would help too, but i don't think it's that necessary
Also please give pistol ironsights, bash is hilarously useless :) It could be a cosmetic animation for kick on pistol equipped though.
Hey, sarge! The beta is amazing, but i experienced a few small bugs, so here's a bit of feedback.
-Sometimes when you slidekick an enemy their body can crush, instakilling you
-One particular fatality on imp (chokeholding him and smashing his head with other hand) gives disproportionate amount of health - a whole 50
-If you sprint with LMG in tactical mode player reloads grenade launcher each time he stops sprinting
-If you sprint with M79 the camera continuously turns up, also animation seems to be cutting off
-Dualwielding is a bit buggy, sometimes it counts single weapon and dualwield mags as separate ones, so if you spend every bullet in both guns and switch back to single - it still has bullets, and vice versa
-Fatality can be interrupted by enemy fire, and player will freeze invunerable in third person, untill he jumps, crouches, or some time passes and animation continues.
-Also railgun seems to be shooting lower and to the left from scope center

Machinegun seems to be counting rockets as primary ammo (big numbers in full helmet HUD and left number in others). That's a minor nuisance, but i felt like telling.
Damn, this mod keeps raising the bar presenting increasingly cool features with every release! I would say that i can't wait for v21, but i'm having such a fun time with v21b, that i don't know what more to wish!
I love the new way weapon balances - ammo is running out quicker, especially with chaingun which now eats up backpack in a few seconds, but overall damage seems to be much higher. But at least to me that makes shotguns look a tiny bit OP. New the way shotgun now cycles faster in down-sights mode makes it as useful for quick cleaning as rifle, SSG doing much more damage than two shots from shotgun just devastates everything, and AA-12. Oh god, AA-12. It would be okay to me if ammo weren't so omnipresent, and you'd have to use those worldwreckers sparingly. But hey, i'm not complaining, it just unusual for weapons to be balanced that way.
In any case, great job with this one, as always! I'm looking forward to full release

Он - очень уникальный и качественный старый мод, классика. Есть же на ModDB и криво-косой Coastline to Atmosphere, и Offshore, и много чего прочего - так почему же кубу не быть? Никогда не плохо иметь под светлым и радостным завтра вполне конкретное и осязаемое сегодня
Я уже и забыл что вы на свете есть. Смотрю на обновления - Trap 2 скрин за скрином фигачит, Sven COOP тоже активненький, даже Operation Black Mesa из могилы вылезла, а у куба - прошлогодний гравитационный манипулятор, и тот картинку не грузит. Грустно осознавать что Cube скорее нет, чем да. E-40, бросай ружье да всплывай, не мучай людей и себя в том числе. Лучше выложи V2 на хостинг какой-нибудь да ссылку дай. Чинить сломанные стимпайпом моды уже научились, за плагиат никто не засудит, да и труды твои можно будет пощупать и оценить вне скриншотов. Ты и так уже много сделал, а V3 с моей, отдаленной колокольни выглядит как что-то нереальное
Отлично сделано, не думал что антигравитация на Source вообще может быть такой плавной и удобной
