Excellent mod!
For an alpha build its remarkably stable!
Very fun to play, its got a great setting and great aesthetic. Its also very simple in allot of its mechanics and design which is really refreshing as some M&B mods can be a bit over complicated.
It has a few bugs here and there, the most entertaining being giant frozen cats sitting in London at night, but so far I haven’t come across anything game breaking.
I never liked this mod, it was buggy a mess and its creator is a hypocritical child. But still, I think what IbramGaunt8911 has done is brilliant, Nomada breaks the very spirit of modding and with his foul treatment of his fans and bullheadedness, I feel that this will teach him a lesson!
Hope IbramGaunt8911 can make something playable out of this!
It is the year 2022 as I write this reivew.
Some of you may have seen my old reivew from 2015 under my older username isa005. In this review I gave FOC Alliance 1/10. I wrote this review a very long time ago after a series of regretable interactions with the mod's devs with myself and the community. If you would like to understand more about that, you can find all of that in other reviews all from around 2015-16.
Since I wrote that review we've all done allot of growing up and much has changed. While I'm not all that much fan of FOC Alliance anymore, the devs have gone a long way to improve their work. This being said, it is by no means perfect and there are other mods out there that do what FOC Alliance does better. However, one cannot deny the hard work, personal time and effort that has gone into FOC Alliance over the years. It has miraculously kept pace with the more notable mods out there like EaWX, Remake and AOTR and remains one of the most popular mods for EaW to date.
It is because of these facts that I have decided to change my review to a 7/10.
Its a great mod and the only one of its kind. That said, it needs some work and that's why I can't give it the full 10/10. I'm sure when 1.0 is released in a matter of days, 1860s Old America will shine and will be exactly what those of us who are fans of the Western/ American Civil War Genre and Theme have been waiting for.
Keep up the brilliant work Gab and don't let the complaining of snot nosed children and inconsiderate keyboard warriors get you down. Whether you know it or not, you one of the few that are keeping the Mount and Blade Warband modding scene alive, allowing those of us to live our dreams of life in the Old West be we Union, Confederate, Rustler, Cowboy or Native!

Since the recent updates, I feel that I can finally give this mod the score it deserves, that's a 10/10 for me!

After some deliberation I feel I cannot give this mod ranking it deserves after the behaviour of its creator Gabrilduro. His odd cult of the personality he has developed, the way in which he treats critics i.e. deleting comments, not even trying to answer questions and put words in peoples mouths is just plain wrong. As a result my opinion has changed and while I shall continue to use his content, because lets face it, it is enjoyable, it does not deserve the praise he so desperately craves see Extradaemon and arkaana's reviews as well they all make very good points.
