I have two problems right now, could anyone help with these if possible.

1. I don't know how to proceed in the level Stalingrad Sniper Duty. After going up from underground, I eventually come to a building with a large hole in the roof. Here I don't know where to go or what to do to proceed in the level. I have not seen a single enemy by this point also.

2. The game does not register when I beat the level Touffreville. I have beaten it several times now but it still says "Not started" when I hover the mouse over it.

Thanks for the help.

MCh2207Cz, have you planned on releasing updates or is this the final version of the mod? I understand if you are probably tired of this mod by now but it would be nice to know if there was more coming or not. Thanks for your time.

MCh2207Cz, why didn't you fix the Webley Revolver when making the mod? All Webley service revolvers have automatic extractors, which are not shown in the game and the character tosses them out manually.

1. I can't take a screenshot right now but the names of the missions are gone and the images of the soldiers are gone so I can't select any levels. I tried making a new profile and the problem seem to be fixed on the new one but I'm afraid it might happen again. I can't keep making new profiles then. I don't have any other mods installed, I just reinstalled the game.

2. Several options seem to reset, and I don't know how to empty the weapon selection menu so that it goes back to the default weapons for the levels.

3. How do I make it so that every soldier gets a random name?

Thanks for taking the time to answer.

MCh2207Cz, I have an encountered a few bugs in the mod so far, some worse than others.

1. First of all, the mission select menu has become empty, there are no missions there to select.

2. B2F settings in the options menu seem to reset or change by themselves.

3. Even with the option turned on, ally soldiers names does not appear.

Thanks, let me know if you know of a solution. I also had another question in the comment section that you could please answer if you have time later.

Yes, I know where the files are, I can't open them in a way so that I can edit them is my problem. The computer says that the file type is unknown, so I was wondering how I was meant to open them with a text editor? Thanks.

MCh2207Cz, how do I do an advanced installation on Steam? The shortcut does not link to the directory, but to a specific Steam code. Putting + set fs_game b2f (or something like that) does not work. Thanks in advance.

MCh2207Cz, could you tell me how I open the weapon files inside the mod? Those that are in weapons/sp? I can't seem to open them but I remember that they used to be openable in the original CoD 2, so what should I use? I just want to look at it myself and perhaps make a few changes to my own preferences. Thanks a lot in advance.

I would also have wanted to make a FoV-only mod, but it did not turn out that way. You see, the Field of View was the last thing in the mod that I changed, it was added on top off everything else, purely for the sake of people like you. I had not intended to alter the FoV at all from the beginning, I did it just because I had the possibility to do so while no one else could.

In many games, you just have to change a single command in some text files to change the FoV, this is not the case in BiB. It is hardcoded into the levels themselves, and so I had to integrate it into the levels I had already altered. It would be very complicated to explain everything you would have to do to do this yourself. First you would have to install and learn to use the editor, then you'd have to manually change it in every map using a method I had to invent mysef in order to alter single-player levels. It would take a lot of time to do it yourself, but if you really want to, then contact me at my email you can find on my profile page, and I can try to explain how to do it yourself.

If you'd rather not go through all this trouble, you could just play through the game with the mod anyway. I can assure you that I have not changed the spirit of the core game, the DataEN-file can also be removed without problems to keep all the original text in the game, meaning weapon names, dates, and so on will stay as they should be.

I hope you found my answer to be enough, I do try to respond to people's comments.

The mod is made for the english language version of the game, if there is a problem with the text it's probably because your version shouldn't have the dataEn file. If you have just added it, then remove it. If you replaced anything then you will have to change it back. You should only use the first two files then.

I found a way to edit single-player levels in the map editor. There I have simply changed the camera FOV in map settings for every level and every FOV. If you make custom multi-player maps you could probably change that in the map settings too, it should work to modify existing multiplayer maps that way as well.

Once you have a map open in the editor, just go to map settings, show advanced/extended option and the FOV option should be there.

If you do not use the editor in any way then there does not seem to be another way to fix it. Console commands does not seem to work.

Best regards,

Marcus.

Hey BlackFireBR, I recently tried to install the mod but when I tried to install Maldos HD textures I noticed that the download links for the fixes to the texture pack weren't working. Is there any chance you have those files and are able to upload them somewhere, or maybe send them directly to me? Thanks for any response.

Thanks for downloading, I am always open for feedback if possible. Gunslinger is a great game, but it wasn't much of a choice between them since I've been working on this mod since before Gunslinger was released. Besides, Bound in Blood has more weapons and is more realistic.

There are still two big problems left.

One, Bolt-Action Rifles should be able to reload mid-clip, preferably with loose rounds. If this is not possible, here is another idea, make them seperate fire modes. So you can choose between using stripper clips and reloading one by one.

Two, weapons need to share ammunition, this is the most unrealistic aspect of the game there is left now.

Can this be done?
