How do i disable the overwatch soldiers using the MP7 and OSIPR's alt fire?

Not sure if this has been reported yet. If you take the tau cannon from Eli's lab in anticitizen one and carry it to a rebel, they will pick it up, but Because they have no animations for it it just sticks out of their belly and they can't shoot with it.

Well crap when i start a new game i don't get the new weapons i had like the tau cannon, stun stick and emplacement gun, and if i use impusle 101 i also get a gluon gun that looks like an OSIPR.

I was half-way through a new playthrough of the game. Can i still use my save from 1.2 or do i have to start anew?

I've installed it and restarted steam but nothing change. :/
