Very excited for the next release of the mod! I only play Sins with this mod and I've played this mod for years and it's very well done and look forward to more quality released from you and your Mod team, congrats on the success and hope there's plenty more, happy Christmas!

Yea I did that trick and even went against two empire factions since any faction will wipe them out on AI due to their weakness, no dice after "10" hours, might try only one and letting them expand to see if they can figure themselves out.

I have noticed that once the Mandalorians take a planet from the AI they won't attack that planet whatsoever, and the AI never takes a mandalorian planet like they would normal pirates.

Interesting, I had the more tactical slots minimod on, even took out some mandalorians on an industrial world for them so they can have that planet, then bankrolled them but no dice, I upped the difficulty on them my next game but they were wiped out by the VCC so gonna try a match against double empire factions and see how it goes.

Is there a magic difficulty setting (or minimod) that would get the empire to actually build a Titan? Played quite a few games with them and they're intelligence on the subject is lacking, haven' even built a star dreadnaught yard.

Is there any way to get the Mandalorians be able to jump from star to star? Running Dopplegangers map with Baskar, would be all the more deadly once I wipe them out of my system that there hunt would be never hindered.

I shall do so soon then, I'm gonna just make a map of pirate bases and cyber fortresses, for some reason those always have the extra units (like titans and whatnot) that I put in the group

Yea I gave up after an hour of working on it, just couldn't get any of it to work, I know a year ago (long time) I didn't have to do anything with the notepad in terms of changes and could do everything in galaxy forge, but I dunno what I could be doing wrong here, oh well, shelved I suppose, thanks for trying though! I appreciate it ^_^

So naturally I jumped right at this once I saw it, but again have issues getting everything I put into a planet to actually spawn. Sometimes the things will pop up, sometimes they won't once I start a new game to test the map loadout. So I'll have a desert planet, local militia is empire strong, one group, with an always probability for planet owner, and have a certain amount of empire units within it. Very rarely will it work, and sometimes it does, and I have two of these exact planets, all the same and one will work and the other won't, so have no idea what I could potentially doing right, have checked every setting I could think of and just apparently need my hand held to get this to actually work.

Yea got a minidump on my first taken planet once I changed out that file, I shall be waiting for the update for the minimods and potentially the galaxy forge then.

So been getting into Sins again and of course only playing with Inerregnum, but I was having trouble with Galaxy forge last night. I'm not sure if it's cause the game and mod have been updated since this version came out, but everytime I would put a template on certain planets (ferrus, cryo, oceanic, desert) only one or two planets would have what I set them up to have and the others would have nothing. I set up the exact same planet set up on either side of a star for a chokepoint game and I couldn't figure out for the life of me why units I had put into a planet weren't showing up (cyber fortress worked all of the time), any suggestions of places I can go to brush up on how to use Galaxy forge again?

I went through a bunch of the troubleshooting guides I got from the Sins forums but I only managed to get the game running normally to make it to the mods, I dunno what update windows 7 decided it needed but it's messed everything up.

So when I start the game up and click on single player, multiplayer, options, etc., it instantly crashes and I have no idea what to do, I've played since the game first came out and it's still doing this, I saw one forum thread about deleting the contents of a certain folder, and the player having the issue just "owning it" whatever that means, didn't help at all, but since my windows updated nothing has worked with Sins except Dev mode, so if anyone has encountered this and fixed it or knows how please help!

Empire is my go to for damage followed by VIR for their phase missiles, advent is good for culture submission and TEC isn't bad just peters out against other superpowers, but holy crap can't I just not punch through any defenses with a maxed fleet of rebels, attacked a ascended planet, they brought in help, and despite my #'s and fighters I was crushed

well when i say next to each other there's a cryo/ferrous planet connected to a central oceanic between them, i click surrender to check their planets and they have full ships at their home planets and half the time have wiped out militias at the asteroid at their back end and also the cryo/ferrous but no expansion..until 6 hours later lol, guess I just have to keep fiddling with em, thank you though for your attempts to help (that sounds snarky in my mind not meaning it to be)

Indeed on the custom map, I did a set-up on galaxy forge that has two factions on either side of a star with chokepoints, wanted a nightmare to fight against on my side, and then have trouble punching through the enemy on the other side of the star, after 8 hours the rebels on the other side expanded all the way to my side (when I woke up to check) but holy it took forever.

I don't care about myself really I want the AI to actually make moves, I like a challenge and I'm not gonna do multiplayer, but they just sit there, I had to leave the game running for 8 hours and just go to sleep and they actually started making moves, even the vanilla sins guys have been bugging lately

Just throwing this out there, the Rebels are by FAR the weakest faction, they get stomped every time I try and use them and I'm very good at this game, but throw them up against anybody it's just a massacre, even at level 10 ships they're just too weak

Not gonna lie played 4 games since I put new minimods in and had 3 opponents everytime and out of those 12 altogether only 2 times did factions seem enhanced or actually do something (every other time they stayed at home planet doing nothing and not expanding) and everytime I throw the rebels they literally do nothing except when I waited 8 hours they started to move and put the on the highest difficulty.

The advent have pretty good shields, and shield mitigation, also they're bombers get pretty strong when it comes to beam damage and range (not too mention tons of them), so they are weaker hull wise, but when i play as them usually my beam range and bombers rip apart most anything before my buffed fleet (halcyon carrier with ew cooldwn by 24% makes their weapons even stronger) and it's over....granted it's almost the same with any faction just switch types of weapons around.
