Ignore my post as I fixed the problem

I followed all the instructions to install this mod (to the best of my ability that is) and it hasn't worked. I'm not sure what I did wrong either.

Both methods failed and I am still unable to play the game

Ok, if I need too I'll try both of these methods and I'll let you know how it goes.

Thanks for that. It helped update the launcher and get most of what I need.

However I recieved a pop up saying
The program or feature \\??\C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Empire at War\corruption\Mods\Stargate\Patches\1.2.1.exe cannot start or run due to incompatibility with 64-bit versions of Windows. Please contact the software vendor to ask if a 64-bit Windows compatible version is available.

If you could help with that I would be very grateful.

Everytime I run the installer I get a message saying that Forces of Corruption could not be found. Please re-install using the original CD-ROM.

I installed the game from Steam and don't have a CD-ROM for it.
What do I do?
