I think you'r right, but i wouldn't want that if takes a lot of time to do it.

All that this mod needs is units, they have done the map, most UI's, 2d art and all, they also need more music but that ain't so difficult. So the main thing they are working on now are the units.

But there is Faramir And Aragorn, even Legolase, Gimli, Gandalf, The Witching, a couple of nazguls, and Saruman and others!

man dont use camtasia studio 7, its the worst game recording progaram out there... use FRAPS, download full version and you can record all oyu want and it will be good quality. To get rid of the units card go to options and UI settings, and select minimal UI, then check all the boxes that say "hide". But what i really recommend is to use the editor program. I dont know if thats the real name, but its the real deal. Th e third age mod made its trailers with it. go to this link to look at the trailers for that mod. Youtube.com

you must delete this folder, Progeram files/SEGA/Medieval 2 total war/ mods/third age/data/UI/ battle.sd. FInd it and delete it. Its either battle or something else .sd

@przemo-dodo the evil factions didt get any new siedge weapons, but the towers and rams are now reskined and they look a lot different from the vannila towers (aka the good factions towers)

@mocker67 to rebuilt arnor you have to build the kings hall or something like that in fornost and then a couple of other things like that, and 1 of those thing also has to do with amon sul (i think?).

naah, there is a couple of other problems. lets say souron doesnt charge as he should, he charges the flagbearer insted of the middle of the unit, then in orcs o gundabad, men ouf rhudaur are yelled out "ORCS!" and they are actually men..

it is. and the solution is to put settlement level on fort, then change the culture to men, now you can set the settlement level to whatever you want (but keep on men culture) and proceed with the battle.

nope, first of all I dont think its good to make a lotr mod for shogun2. Second, SEGA annaunced that modding shogun 2 will be really hard so...
After shogun 2 there wll be (likely) rome 2, so thats what would be best for a lotr mod.

yes there is. see it youself. capture a picture of a unit with high texture details, then go to the settings, change to low, and take another picture of the same unit this time with low texture settings. Then just compare your pictures and ull see the difference!

go to the main menu, select options, video settings and check the advanced options box. then ull see all your graphics options including texture quality (thats what ur looking for) unit detail (determines the unit detail from a distant point of view) vegetation detail (detail of trees rocks etc.) grass detail (if u want flowers select high :))
and other stuff like resolution... Everything u want is there.
