Since release this map has had its entire spawn system reworked and the trader selected progressively as to not make the player travel across the entire map.

Players will re-spawn on the current trader if they didn't make it through a wave.

Spawns only activate if players are in its area.

Atmospheric rain was added throughout the map.

The cars were removed since they were too buggy.

Thanks for the input and feedback!

I planned on releasing a heavy fog/mist version of this for variation and because I am curious to how it feels compared to the train being the only source of light.

Expect more variations of this in the future!

V2 Changelist:
- Spawnrate increase, this should fix the zed getting lost as well.
- Added more precise collision to train tracks
- Pathing improvements
- Train speed very slightly increased
- Improved teleporting for train and when spawnig in
- The trader path seems to be working better with the train
- FPS issues should be fixed, if not please let me know
- Changed customization and starting area to be the elevators leading down to biotic labs
- Visual changes on train, including a tie in to blackforest with some baby clotmothers on-board
- Aurora Borealis added to outside snow area
- Fire and ashfall added to the rocky ravine area
- Flowers added to forest
- Changed up tunnel visuals a bit
- Improved boss spawning so they don't start far away.

I have played this on multiple servers and this is the first I have heard of a major lag/performance issue aside from the rocky area.

Most give positive feedback on the light given off the train. Aside from that everything else will be pitch black :P

Was this on solo? Or did you try joining a server?

updated and made some quick hotfixes.

Fixes:
- Performance in rocky areas
- Teleporting during wave when near the front of the train
- Players now die when falling off edges in cliffside area.
- changes to snow section of the level

I thought about that and it would be interesting to see how it plays.

However I want to let players risk getting lost in the corn if they think they know a shortcut or the way back to the middle. I wanted this to be a free roam map that doesn't hinder the player movement or feel cramped and blocking off the corn would have a huge impact on the feel of the map.

Good suggestion though and I love the feedback! Thanks for playing and giving time to comment.

I noticed that the glass windows are blocking players in some servers but I am unsure why. If you are unable to jump through the window on a server please let the admin know and have them contact me please so I can try to resolve this :)

Is it hard for you at the moment to get to the center with letting you move through the crops?

This wouldn't be a hard version to make but I wanted to let players move through the crop if they wanted at the risk of low visibility and getting lost when trying to take a shortcut.

I had to update the V3 download real quick to fix the default grass issue from a previous update on KF2. If you downloaded this today or sometime before 12/15/2015 please redownload and reapply to the server!

Update V3 is out:

- Fixed Spawns all around.
- Zeds fall from cliffs gracefully now
- Added some obstacles to roadways and made some visual changes
- Performance should be increased even more now
- Added a lot of blocking volumes to smooth out movements and to fix zed pathing
- Reverb Volumes adjusted to sounds like you are in the mountains
- Overall general polish and updates to map

Party room, lab room, medical room, bloat barf green room, birthday room, and of course the blood room. Hotel rooms tend to be exactly alike, so I made them all have different landmarks so you know where you are at.

What parts are you talking of looking the exact same since each room has a different layout/objects/lighting?

New Update is out:

Updates/Changes:
- Hopefully fixed an unlikely event where 1 zed gets stuck at the end of the wave
- Fixed some destructible lights that were not working correctly
- Map should be just a tad bit more difficult :P
