I got the same problem. I posted on the forums with debugger logs and stuff. I've tried couple settings and I can JOIN servers.

Create a local game (coop), it works just like vanilla bf2 conquest, very neat little feature ;)
You should only wait around 40 sec to respawn in the "no-respawn gamemode", unless you are hit before 1 minutes has passed, then you have to wait a little longer. :)

We need to figure a way to host an internet server, then it would be possible to have MP events.
I doubt that there will be running games all the time, but events with around 5 - 10 people would be possible I think.

The guns should not be green, they should look the same as on normal maps. :P
It's bug that can be fixed easily be deleting your cache folder.

Start it without Desura, that fixed it for me :)

You should look into the Omnicide zombie mod for BF2, it has a really great way of making "scenario" style game.
In short it will make the (human) combatarea a small path, that kills you FAST if you leave it. The path will go through points of interest.
Zombies will spawn random around the map and hunt you down.
In the end you'll get to a cp which will spawn a vehicle somewhere, with the vehicle you will be able to reach a new area and so on, until last CP which will end the round.

I got Hamachi, and I'll gladly join your game if you host one, not today though (school).
I can't one host myself, because of router problems.

Try restarting your computer.
Try reinstalling the mod.

There are no MP servers for this mod at the time.
Multiplayer is not really supported by v0.6 but will be when v0.7xx comes out.
If you really want MP, you can join the hamachi network and ask if someone can put up a server.

Do you have the bf2 debugger installed?
If you have that, you could try and run the mod with that and it will give you a reason why it crashes. Then I'll be able to fix the issue.

Else, just reinstall the mod, it's a known problem and people have fixed it by reinstalling. I can't really help with knowing more.

There is a workaround though, but that's is a lot of work.

There shouldn't be a killfeed, but I think I might know why, a lot of the hud things are partly made by editing the location files.

First, download the newest version.
Then make sure you've got BF2 v1.5

You have to use BF2 v1.5 or else it will crash at some point.
I don't know why the game is crashing for you, but a reinstall might help.

You have to use BF2 v1.5 (maybe v1.41 works).
That will probably solve the problem.

Right click -> properties -> compatibility (tab)
Both compatibility and admin settings should be there.
