hey someone voted it a "1" is this map anygood?
Just some troll, don't mind it.
And yes, it's quite good and worth trying out.
short 15 min advanture
It's short but very good.
Some bigger mods aren't so good like this one.
I prefer shorter but good mods.
Shouldn't this be in the mods section?Looks interesting, ill try it.
Well formally this is a mod, but it only has one map. I don't really know, either :P
I have just finished it, and I liked it a lot. Yes, it is short and can easily be passed in around 15 minutes, but it's a well executed map. I liked how you used dustmotes a lot, they didn't look overused at all. Took me a while to get past the first chamber until I found the way out, nice little puzzle there.
The map did have some optimization issues, unfortunately. My framerate dropped to 30FPS a couple of times, though I can usually play it at 60FPS stable (vsync On). It didn't make the game unplayable at all, mind you. Also, nearing the end of the map, two music tracks started playing at once, overlapping each other, which was kinda weird.
Other than that, it was very good. Keep up the good work!
Great job, but really sudden ending. Should have ended in you driving off in an airboat or something.
Once again, Great job!
Excellent mod. Level design is top-notch, very near Valve-quality content. I had a few issues with the balancing though, as very early on in the mod the player is given excessive amounts of ammo and health, only to be left with almost nothing near the end. It gets to be quite a challenge near the climax of the level. Other than that, very well done.
Good encounter pacing and a frantic final battle make this an all around great run&gun map!
I'll have to agree with Marcinkony on this one.
An excellent short adventured riddled with low fps periods dabbled with some aggravating battles (combine through the ceiling while i had low health). I also throughly enjoyed the beginning of the mod, a familiar and plausable setting. But I was rather disappointed at the end, screen goes black and that's the end of the game. Overall, I would say the excellent mapping is curbed by the poor optimization. A solid 8/10 should do it.
Mostly very good, with four faults:
1)Two alarms going at the same time with no way to shut them off.
2)Invisible walls.
3)Infinitely respawning Combine soldiers.
4)Unsatisfying ending: the fade to black starts at the instant of the fatal hit on the gunship, leaving the player without the reward of seeing the gunship gibs on the ground.
