I am having a blast with that add-on! Graphics are superb and there is a lot of D64 feel to it. There are some performance issues tough (with certain levels with a high amount of architectural detail).
Regarding the monsters and weapons I would wish it would be more like Doom64 Retribution. Actually there is a gameplay-mod out there based on Doom64 Retribution. I use it together with you D64ifier Core for my (personal) best enjoyment :)

Thank you very much for those regular thorough and regular updates. Particle performance (rain from the absolution -> BD64 Absolution TC) has improved a lot btw :)
BTW: Your mod has been the only mod of bd64 that really adressed this nasystamina-slowdown (except mayby my own clunky try). As I said, thats much more then a patch it should be a 3.0 instead ;)

Oh, I will kepp on giving feedback if its appreciated and I am very glad that it is motivating you :)
Also thanks a lot for considering to convert the Beta64 Maps. The original author for some reason did not get a lot of feedback wich I really pity. Just one of those hidden gems :)

Man this is one great update/release. Phew just great. I hope this is the right place for a little feedback concerning the maps?

I won't report about the missing items anymore since I think its a global problem with a certain item/decoration.
Just finished maps 26 and 27. And I had to cheat on both of them since I #&/%! could not find enough ammo to get rid of all of the monsters. For some reason the monsters did not infight on both maps. Is that on purpose? If I could get them infighting, the lack of ammo could be dealt with... I think.

Also a big thumbs up to these new music tracks/ambient tracks! They really nail it. Perfect Doom64 lore. I never expected someone would pull something like that of. You should advertise that a bit more too IMHO because it is a great "detail" to do all that extra work.

Currently I am stuck in map 28, can't get to the red key (yet). Man that map is gorgeous! Color, lightning and those traps! Wunderfull!
Keep on that great work! Doom64 deserves no less! :)

Concerning the rain effects:
I installed the latest update of the of swc132994 s Doom64 version. map 13 rain works without any lag, same with 16. 15 still hogs on the performance but I get at least 30+ fps :)

Hi!
I am having serious performance issues here with the rain effect in Levels 15 and 16 (especially map 15). In both OGL and Vulcan Framerate drops below 10fps on a Ryzen5 and a GTX 1050Ti. Would it be possible to turn the rain on/off via a switch or a console command?

Keep up the great work!

PS: Bug Report --> Missing Decoration near/in front of the yellow door in map 18

It might be a nice 1 month project ;)
But if you have to redo the whole thing (placing textures etc) that must be really a lot of work. I hoped you pro-guys would have some (semi) automated tools to pull that off ;)

BTw: Any plans to convert Beta64.wad (a terribly underrated megawad for Doom64EX(imdoom64 engine) into this TC?

Kind regards

Great and competent release! This actually fixes so much that it should be a complete new version on itself.
This version plays very smooth (much better then the unpatched gameplay IMHO) and is very compatible with (most of) other wads. Very good performance, no Z-fighting of the bloodsplashes on the floor again. This is my favourtie D64-mod for now and I play D64 a lot :)

Great work! I have a technical problem though (running GZDOOM and Zandronum on Ubuntu Linix 16.04):
Some levels, after a while get more and more sluggish and end up with a less then 1fps.(It seems to be some kind of loop because the effect just gets worse and worse over time) I looked a bit into the file and compared it the the Monsters-only-version.
I ended up with removing the

"ClearPlayerClasses
AddPlayerClass 64DoomPlayer
AddPlayerClass Tactical64DoomPlayer

WeaponSection 64WeaponSection"

Entry from KEYCONF.txt

That does fix the problem with the performance but since I removed the whole "class" thing I can not use the fists and the gun anymore. Do you have idea how to solve that problem while -keeping- the class? :)

Kind regards
