I'm not getting any blowouts at all except for one in cordon near the beginning. Ive gotten pretty far in the game(just turned in x-18 info to sin and petrenko) and I went back to cordon and sat there for hours on all 3 render types (static, object, and dx11) and didn't get any blowouts at all. I also tried speeding up the game with time_factor_single and still didnt get any.
Dezo I told you this on 1.3003 and you told me I was wrong and that I was at a spot in the game where I shouldn't get blowouts.... well theyre definitely not working, I should be able to get blowouts all the time once Ive completed the story up to dark valley and am sittin in cordon waiting for them, right?

do you know what the /1 and /2 mean, like real world equivalent?

the akm 74/2 is using 5.45 like it should but the 74/1 is using 7.62. Im not a gun nut so idk whats right.

oops I meant artifact detector.

I bought an advanced artifact detector from a guard outside the bar, but it doesnt have any upgrades available like the simple detector does. Is it a fully upgraded one or is it a leftover item that we shouldnt use?
Also, the Akm 74/1 and the "Sniper AKMS" use 7.62x39 ammo, is that right?

I've noticed this too, a little invisible wall. guess the devs havent walked in that spot enough to notice it

well my system is already getting no lag at max settings except for the stutters from loading off of hdd. 3.7ghz quad core, r9 280 overclocked, 1333mhz ram. I just need to put some game files on a ram disk, I just dont know what files. I actually have 3.5gb ram I can make into the ramdisk.

After entering freeplay mode, my weather is still stuck on switching between af_partly, af_cloudy, and alpha_r2, and I'm still not getting blowouts, even after changing the frequency of blowouts and speeding time up and waiting for days in game.

and maybe if YOU ask nicely, Ill do some testing for you. but we arent there yet. and im not going to type anything else to convince you that they arent working.

that was my adjusted way of talking, and i dont need anything. i have a pack of saves from start to finish, and im just gonna use it whenever blowouts break. and you are wrong, and completely talking out your ***, by saying that blowouts are working, when ive stated so many times that they can break. what the **** do you have to say about my weather being stuck on 3 types, and not getting blowouts? you are obviously deserving of far harsher words

how can we change it? or what are those limits on blowouts exactly? I can get 10 blowouts in a row in cordon in a new game, but my real save has never seen a blowout. I actually think this is the weather bug. It's still possible in 1.3003 to get your dx10/9 weather stuck on af_partly, then when you try to fix it by saving game in static rendering it only allows 3 weather modes from then on. When that happens, I don't see any console messages about blowouts or blowout requirement checking. I thought it wasn't the weather bug cuz sometimes I can fix it on a new game, but still not get blowouts, and cuz Ive seen instances with the blowout conditions being checked and met and it says 'starting preblow' but the blowout never comes. I'm gonna keep playing on this new save, can you tell me when in the storyline blowouts get disabled until something else happens?

I asked someone who was making forum posts about it if they ever got it to work, and what they had to do, and they said they couldnt remember, and:

uhm...actually it seems that since 1.3002, blowout can get bugged and stop happening. It keeps happening to me and I test it by increasing the blowout frequency in the game file from 8 to 1, then speeding time up. I will get some blowouts, but after a short time playing, they stop coming, and I always check in cordon after doing the story missions there. Ive been looking for the answer and been finding a lot of people with the same problem, but no fix. So I guess the better question is....how long til developer's cut is ready? lol

can you please yell us how to fix blowouts?
