Just a note on this one - I can't get the eat icon to appear where I want it to (down near the right bottom corner), it appears the maingame.xml file has limitations on editing the features under icons_scroll_view (the standard radiation, bleeding and cutlery icons). Therefore, I decided to shunt the PDA minimap over a little so the eat icon appears in the top left. Ignore the compass in this pic, I forgot to move it over by 20 pixels when I moved over the other zone_map.xml elements - d'oh!

These are some pics of the HUD which is finished for the most part now (the OGSE version in particular). I can now port to vanilla to make a more widely compatible version.
