Any chance of a link to the fauna export video tutorial?
Does anyone have an example (like the ones included with the exporter tools) of a plane setup for export to MoWAS/AS2? I remember there used to be one but I can't find it anymore.
Also binoculars, anyone know how to get them working for export? I've tried doing it like a gun but they don't work in game.
While donating sounds like it may be a good idea, it could actually get the mod shutdown by Disney, not to mention distributing any donations across the whole team would be a headache and this isn't after all one man's project ;)

The mod does contain our scripts and a couple of sparse graphical assets by me after all.
1) You should get an event at some point, if your character is "undesirable" (slothful, slob or otherwise an idiot) the event will take a lot longer to pop up (if it ever does). Having a "desirable" character (diligent, gregarious for ex.) will make the event more likely.

1) You need to have someone within 3 generations of your existing character who had a bloodline to be able to claim a bloodline.
2) The hardcoded AI couldn't work within the old HK system we had scripted so we had to remove it so the AI stood a chance of forming HKs more regularly.

From what people have said, completely deleting the installation, verifying the integrity of your steam game cache and then reinstalling the modification with the self-installer rather than the .zip version fixed their crashing Moddb.com
We don't have anyone who can create 3d Models for them and import to CK2 at the moment, so not really no :/

Due to the logistical issues with handling multiple different versions based on users DLCs, we've made portraits a required DLC due to the advancing art assets we're creating (custom clothing, overlays etc) that affect DLC assets as well as our own. There really aren't a lot of mods that do what we do, and those that do are largely aping or directly deriving their systems from Elder Kings (with some exceptions). If you're a member of the ParadoxPlaza you may notice that another large total conversion that does just about as much as we do also isn't releasing a new version for the current patch until Paradox fix the issues and a number of other large TCs also have yet to update to the latest version.
We refuse to release a mod that is half functional, but we're offering access to our development version. If this isn't acceptable, well honestly I don't care. The option is there to play the latest iteration of the mod on the latest patch for those that want to.
As with any volunteer hobby project motivations wax and wane, right now development is in a slump and there are only 1 to 3 people working on it for a few minutes each day. Progress is still being made but at a very slow pace. If you'd like more regular contact with the development team you should head over to the official CK2 forums where we have a subforum. You'll require a legitimate CK2 steam key to register and access the subforums.
Has anyone successfully imported a heightmap into AS2?
It keeps crashing every time I try (although the same heightmap can be imported into AS1 successfully, but the size restrictions in AS1 hamper what I intend to create).
I can't be any more accurate than some time in the next couple of months.

Technically the mod is still compatible with 2.1.6. There were no critical changes that invalidated the mod, so long as you follow instructions when installing you should be good to go.
(Make sure to remove old installations of the mod before installing new ones)

It's actually not an issue specific to 32bit, but rather to really low-spec Intel integrated graphics chips in Laptops; 32bit OSes just compound the issue.
Grabbing all of the latest driver updates from your laptop's manufacturer helps alleviate these issues in most cases, but not all. In the cases where it doesn't, there's simply nothing we can do as your laptop is just too below spec to run the mod.
Think of it like asking the Crysis developers to recode their game for low-end systems; it's simply not feasible.
