Lead on the Elder Kings modification for Crusader Kings 2.
Has anyone successfully imported a heightmap into AS2?
It keeps crashing every time I try (although the same heightmap can be imported into AS1 successfully, but the size restrictions in AS1 hamper what I intend to create).
I can't be any more accurate than some time in the next couple of months.
Only when there's a release. Maintaining multiple locations is hassle with such a small team.
Everyone with a non-pirated copy of CK2 can.
You can ask, but there's no answer on the ETA.
Stop being such a drama queen. Russia has social healthcare, it has done since the soviet era regardless of how good it is. If you needed the cash so badly, you could've sold your PC, but as you show in your post you actually didn't need the cash.
Honestly, you're an arrogant greedy little child yourself and I believe none of this; and what is funny is I would have donated the money needed if you'd explained some of your scripting when I asked 3 months ago, instead of acting like a prick to me.
Reciprocal altruism, look it up.
Russia has public healthcare.
Technically the mod is still compatible with 2.1.6. There were no critical changes that invalidated the mod, so long as you follow instructions when installing you should be good to go.
(Make sure to remove old installations of the mod before installing new ones)
That's not possible.
It's actually not an issue specific to 32bit, but rather to really low-spec Intel integrated graphics chips in Laptops; 32bit OSes just compound the issue.
Grabbing all of the latest driver updates from your laptop's manufacturer helps alleviate these issues in most cases, but not all. In the cases where it doesn't, there's simply nothing we can do as your laptop is just too below spec to run the mod.
Think of it like asking the Crysis developers to recode their game for low-end systems; it's simply not feasible.
We have exactly this many team members who speak fluent french...
The mod is not, and never will be compatible with 32bit systems; you can use the zip version and hope it works, but you will inevitably run into issues.
The Bugtracker is for bug reports (it's linked in the description, bug blue "Bugtracker" button).
This is a case of your system not being powerful enough for the mod. Upgrade all your drivers for absolutely everything on your laptop (this issue has so far only cropped up on laptops, Intel ones), that helps in some cases but not all.
The customised units weren't 100% compatible anymore and were bugged; the individual responsible for them was no longer on the team and no longer able to offer support on fixing or expanding them so we had to make the decision to drop them from the mod.
As for clothing; the custom clothing was a very limited selection that didn't fit half the portrait sets; as we have a new artist on board creating portraits, they're creating some new clothing sets too :)
There's always a chance of death when attempting to obtain immortality; Lichdom has less chance but no one likes you after...
It can run on 32bit systems but performance and stability aren't guaranteed and vary widely between users. Just use this zip archive and follow the instructions inside it.
Bugtracker is back up, it was down for a couple of days while it was migrated to a new server.
Please for the love of god would people read the first two lines at the top;
PLEASE -PLEASE- STOP USING COMMENTS FOR TECH SUPPORT/BUG REPORTS!
USE THE BUGTRACKER WHICH IS WHAT IT'S MEANT TO BE USED FOR!
The -only- cause to date of this issue is either not using 2.1.4 CK2, or not uninstalling existing versions of Elder Kings -completely- before installing new versions.
WAD, not a bug. More info can be given if you post on the paradox forums. We don't use these comments sections for discussion as their a PIA to use.
1) You give an acceptable candidate (Agents, Assassins, Nightblades, Thieves) the "Spy" minor title. They should then become available for assassinating etc.
2) This is meant to add an alternative to the assassinate action where you can choose to send the brotherhood instead of an assassin.
You can find the answer to this and many more modding queries over at the official CK2 modding subforum;
Tsaesci are being worked on but they're not quite as snakey as people are possibly hoping. They're still very humanoid. As for the Kamal; they're likely to remain human for now unless our potraiter has ideas for them.
How to make a world class BLT.
Our mod predates even knowledge of the existence of the MMO by a year, we were developing our Interregnum bookmark long before the MMO. As for the new bookmark, the events alluded to work well for our bookmark, since they weren't a huge leap from our current time frame it was easy to pump it out. Working chronologically means we can add new bookmarks (hopefully) quicker since we only need to add one or two generations from the last bookmark. If we jumped ahead to Tiber, we'll have to fill in some 850 years of history; so technically you can consider all the bookmarks up to Tiber being the groundwork, we are actually building his bookmark, we're just adding others in between based on the history we're making for his :)
If you can use the installer, please use it. The reason you're seeing this stuff is that you didn't follow the installation instructions properly.
For some reason quite a few downloads are being corrupted; it's not anything we've done but rather an issue with the MODDB servers or the connection I guess.
I'd try redownloading if I were you.
There was an issue with some of the new vampire system events; they've been tweaked for 0.1.4b though which will be released within the next couple of days.
Please use the bugtracker to report issues.
It is. It's the Fletchette launcher from JKA (Golan Arms FC-1).
I know this tutorial is a year old, and your blog post makes you sound pretty down about the MoW modding community, but do you think you could do one for wheeled vehicles?
The example tank supplied with the exporter tools works for tanks, but I'd like to read a tutorial for wheeled vehicles if possible.
Same engine, completely different style of game.
Going over your demesne limit will increase the chance of infestations appearing, as will being at war, having "Cabals" in your provinces, having low stewardship skill. Having "bad" traits such as slothful, absent minded etc will also increase the chance of them.
Conversely having a high stewardship skill, being within your demesne limit (or even under it), having good traits like diligent will decrease the chance.
