The Mount & Blade franchise has served as one of the best, if not the best, action & strategy RPGs on the PC market for the past six years. Fantastic online and modding communities and a great dev & publisher team.

Absolutely incredible strategy game. The game initially seemed rather difficult and daunting, but you settle in very easily.

The game started off as an enjoyable little indie, but my fun began to cease once most of my games began receiving abysmally low ratings despite me following the advice of a friend who had previously played the game. All of my sliders are in the correct places, I have a cracking, state-of-the-art game engine, all of my employees are trained and rested, but regardless, all of the games I release are beaten down by critics.

The problem here is that, for me, there is no way to escape the situation my game company is in, so, despite the number of good quality (or even shovelware) games released, my company's wealth is just going down the drain. Perhaps I am misunderstanding the game's mechanics, but there is no helpful in-game tutorial regarding my situation.

That experience aside, the game looks good and is rather user-friendly. The game was good fun up until the events that led to my company's demise, which were, as far as I could tell, completely out of my control.

Incredible mod. Well worth the wait for it.
