Would love to be on Steam but you have to go through Greenlight, which can be a drag from what I hear. Contract Work will be releasing on other digital storefronts (including Desura) sometime in the next month.
No hard price point yet, but probably around $8-10 USD.
Hey everyone - I've been working on a new game, 'Contract Work', a game with many similar themes to UETF - it's a customizable, cyberpunk 2d shooter. If any of you are interested, you can find it on IndieDB:
Please try deleting your entire UETFComplete folder in your UT2004 folder and any other UETF folders you may have (UETF, UETFTactics) and then re-install.
Some random 1.2 updates: New weapon sounds for the Pistol, Assault Rifle and Heavy Assault Weapon; 2 new enemies and new enemy art; Updated map architecture on Lithium.
Congratulations to the player that reached level 15! Right now the classes 'max out' at level 9 but higher level content is planned for future updates.
Requires UT2004 v. 3369 - grab the latest patch from BeyondUnreal.
Sounds like you need the latest UT patch. Download it at BeyondUnreal.
To install: Extract UETFComplete folder and place in your UT2004 directory. To run, activate via the community tab or update the UETF Complete shortcut.
1.1 Update got the official #Desura greenlight and .ZIP is awaiting authorization on #Moddb, hopefully ok'd before wkend.
.ZIP version coming out this week along with 1.1 updates; includes new upgrades, faster leveling and improved game-play.
With role based classes and modern warfare style character leveling/customization.
A few quick updates from the Twitter feed:
"Working on a big news update for UETF Chronicles. I'll share our release metrics and preview features from the new release."
"Also - .ZIP download coming soon for all our non PC fans."

I'll post the video up on moddb later, but here's the link to the 2 minute character setup tutorial on youtube: Youtube.com
Sure, I'll post up a video guide later this week.
Good old games (GOG.com) has UT2004 available for DRM free download at $10 USD.
This can definitely be played online but there aren't many servers up right now. I'm working on setting up a dedicated server - it should be up sometime next week.
This is the old version of UETF (April 2009) - please use Desura to download the latest version!
We are live on Desura!
Working with Desura team to finalize the release. They found a bug that I didn't catch with my testing; it's fixed now. Sorry for the delay - hopefully we'll get the green light soon!
Quick update - all testing is complete; I am just waiting to be verified on Desura.
To everyone that downloaded this release - you will need to remove all files that were added into your UT2004/maps and UT2004/system folders to be able to update the official release version on Desura, coming out tomorrow. Message me if you have any questions.
Finishing the final testing tonight - public release should be available on Desura tomorrow.
Just a quick note to everyone - public release will be coming out in the next week or so. Still working on whether it will be released here or on Desura. Also working on a new release trailer to be released by Friday. Thanks for all your support!
Installation Instructions: Extract the UT2004 folder into your UT2004 directory; Run using the UETF Complete shortcut in the UETFComplete folder.
It's an internal release candidate for the UETF Chronicles modification - you're welcome to try it out. The public release will be later this week.
Let me know if you're having any problems with the new release ASAP.

Currently the launcher is updating your player.ini file so it resets some values, such as the minimized HUD and your key bindings. It should only happen on the initial download.
You can press the '+' button to add the missing elements back to your HUD.
