... feel right!

As you know, I did quite some stuff the last week and I thought it was quite fun to do, but now some more tasks are just annoying me and I'm asking myself why I should do those tasks if I was doing concept art for fun in the first place?

I think that I'm just not that type of guy who works hard and learns all day long, doing sketches every minute possible to keep making progress. I tried to be that type of guy, but it obviously doesn't work out well. It's sad to quit, but it troubles me more than making me enjoy art and that's just not feeling right.

If I am made to go that concept art way, it will come either way and if I am not made for that, I will find something else instead. But forcing myself into learning concept art and design won't make me happy. I'd love to do stuff like the pros do, but it needs so much practice, you need to love to practice every day, otherwise you cannot achieve such a high skill, I guess.

That doesn't mean that I'm quitting art overall, but I won't do anymore modwork and only personal stuff, where things just come along by accident and don't have to be planned out in every detail and purpose. If anyone still likes my stuff then that would be really great, but that's not my goal any longer and some may even have trouble to even see something in my future works, as it's more about drawing what I'm feeling, but I don't want to wait for the fun anymore, I'm now just doing whatever I want and I don't really care what you think about that.

Doesn't need to. Feeling something right or wrong doesn't necessarily gives you the image of what you really like or dislike.

There's always a mental barrier at the beginning of doing something - SOMETHING, like drawing sketches, modelling, etc.

You'll meet it at every turn, in whatever field you'd choose. Why? Why is it there?

Maybe Somebody made that barrier to prevent humans from having e.g. 5,000,000,000 aerospace engineers or 5,000,000,000 scuba divers.

Whatever the reason, one thing is for sure - if you really DESIRE to go that way, and you're successful, i.e. you show some skills, then you need to GO further despite ANY difficulties.

Doing tasks for others could teach you a lesson of humbleness.
Also, doing a favour for somebody is a great way to improve your character.

Just proves more and more that YOU'RE the one to take up that profession.

It comes and goes, i get it often whilst writing.

Just do what your heart and mind tell you to. Often wandering off the path you chose, gives you the inspiration to continue.
