It's a great game, especially if you have a friend to battle work with or battle with.

Although we usually get our ***** handed to us in the campaign modes

There actually more maps then that, those are the 4 new additions to it in 1.4. FS has quite selection of maps now,I think there's about more then 9 maps in FS. (Including Space battles) So no need to worry about it having very few maps.

Can't wait until the new version comes up. Those screen shots looks like the battles will be more intense and so many visual improvments :D. Can't wait!!!

Yes, but its not in the original FS game, download the singleplayer mini mod for bot support. Here Forums.fsmod.com
