Or you could just keep it spinning when you press E. Spawn a ton of zombies, and just when you think you're about to die an audio cue goes off signaling that the cover opened like the sound of creaking metal or something. Could make things more intense.

Or if that's too much work the 5 second fix is okay as well.

Impressive detail for an alpha, and the gameplay is enjoyable.
In true Valve style an early portion of your game involves you sitting in a train while the landscape rolls by. On the crossing house, I kind of wish that the puzzle was less pull lever get result but it's not that bad.

What I really loved was the part with the suspended platform in the sewers. Using the I beam to keep the platform from swinging wildly was sheer brilliance. Though I must wonder if you intended the player to die if they decided to chuck the barrels off the platform.

Also, can you get rid of the part where you have to hold down E to open the sewer cover and just make us press E once? I don't know what is it with this mechanic, but they were the most pace and enjoyment killing aspects of the source engine.

The rocks look a bit odd. Maybe make them look less like cylinders stacked ontop of each other and more of an assortment of triangles connected to each other. And have an entire wall a rock face instead of some rocks sticking out of a steel/concrete wall, it looks really odd.

The side paths in koth_nucleus are a good example of the evil lair built into caves kind of scenery.

Also, explosive barrels in a launch chamber. How typical of the Evil mastermind. lol.

Either way media says a lot more especially in terms of progress, but cant really give you insight on a development process as effectively as a wall of text unless its a comic.

An extra set of legs would do wonders. Maybe two stretching out at the back to give it a little feeling of support since it looks like that thing could topple over because of the fuel tanks. But aside from that its awesome.

Nod had this beetle look for C&C 3. And it fits them quite well. The concept art is a bit menacing for a harvester. I like it.

The Nod crawlers seem very flat and not that visually appealing to me. Nod vehicles tend to be thicker toward the rear. Like the TW MCV, the Scorpion tank, the 1st and 3rd generation of the flame tank.

Or could just be the angle of the image.

It allows you to build McNeil and Chandra and the duo kicks all sorts of *** perhaps?

Or something more serious like a large los and a combat effectiveness boost. Then throw in some spot lights like those Hammerheads in that KW mission to make things look cool.

Also since you made the Kodiak, can we expect the montauk to make an appearance as well?

Ah, good old artillery, I remember back then when these things didnt miss and could fire into Fog of War.

I was like screw walls, I'll just use artillery.
