i understand what you mean and by all means keep up the good work and yea the archangel does look good and so do the imperial ships, ur a very good ship designer. i wish i could do that sort of thing. have you ever thought about expanding the Progenitor race? like adding more ships? also great work on the kadeshi, i love that race, i usually build swarmers and heavy swarmers, not so much advance swarmers because they are weaker then the regular swarmer, do you know why you made it like that? Besides the fact that they can cloak, i dont see much use for them since they are so weak. oh and great idea does nebula generators are, i love those things. :)

i understand what you are saying, but how come you cant increase unit caps? you mentioned above that you have combined the units for all ships, so this forces the player to choose one ship or the other. like for instance if the fighters and corvettes are caped together then im only able to build small numbers of each. like if the cap is 25, then i can only build 10 wings of interceptors, 10 wings of bombers, which only leaves me with five wings of corvettes. And when playing as the Nabaal you mention that they are ideal for "large" fleets but the unit cap is the same for every other kiith. i really like this mod, im not downing it in any way. and i like the remake to the somtaaw arcangel. i thought you were gonna add missiles to it since it had missiles in cataclysm.

is it just me or is dark omen waaay too strong, i mean it one-shot kills anything even battlecruisers and it has a ton of health and when ever i order my fighters and bombers to attack it, it just moves around really fast and collides with all my ships killing them instantly. i lost about 30 bombers by it just running into all of them. and who is shadow hunter?? he came out of no where when i was trying to kill the dark omen with the kadeshi, it looks good but it together with the dark omen and the rest of the vayger fleet owned my whole fleet..sad. ive managed to kill it several times, but it takes me a whole fleet to get it down to about 1/4 health and then i have to build again while it heals itself... oh and when playing with the nabaal, can you increase the unit caps because i can build factories but cant build ships because the unit cap is too low. maybe you can make it so that every factory you build increases the unit cap for all your ships... or maybe just increase the unit cap all together especially for the kadeshi, whom rely a lot on fighters. Great work so far, i have to say that this is the best mod for hw2 out there, thank you for all your hard work, keep it up.

i love these guys! they look great and are powerful too. great job on this race. although still early in it's stages, it looks very promising. one thing i noticed though, the research station has no textures, all i can see it the array and the rest is just black.

hey mololu i just wanted to bring to your attention that the kadeshi need some value corrections for example the rate at which kadeshi ships can be hijacked is too fast. i was just playing as the kadeshi vs the turanics and one thief was able to hijack 4 templars in less then 35 seconds. i was amazed when my whole capital-ship fleet was taken over in less then 1 minute by one thief. and also are you planning on adding more ships to the keepers? it seems like they dont have that many ships...

one quick question, how come you replaced all the BC's ion cannons with kinetic turrets? its weird because when i play the game the light cruiser has more firepower than the battle cruiser. and of course the battle platform has the most power, but why did you make the light one stronger then the battle one?

kadeshi with progenitor tech?....i don't know..i hope it doesn't take their "uniqueness" away. we already have progenitors that we can play as please make the kadeshi different so we can have fun playing with races that are truly different from one another.

Thanks for agreeing with my idea. I know what u mean about the advance swarmer being good against all. I was just thinking that the elite swarmer would be the last swarmer u can build. Like maybe make the research for it be : swarmer chassis---swarmer engine upgrade---swarmer advance armor---swarmer elite chassis---engine output increase---advance weaponry---upgrade plasma. And if you could make ur own effects. You can make its weapons more distinct by changing the color of the plasma it shoots after the upgrade. For example we all know plasma bombs are blue, well maybe once you upgrade the plasma cannons on the elite they will be purple. And when u see them flying around shooting purple plasma u know they are elite.

you should also create an elite swarmer, something really cool looking and distinctive from the other swarmers so that when you see it, you know its elite. weapons might consist of 2 anti fighter missile pods on the side of the ship for strike craft advantage and on the bottom plasma cannons to shoot down frigates and even capital ships when many are used.

I understand what you mean about technology evolving and you are right. I just remembered the original one how awesome it was when it shot all 4 cannons and spun on its axis. Its was a nightmare for the enemy because they were smaller then a destroyer but had the power of 3 of them. I'm not saying I don't like ur model because I do, I think you have done a very good job creating all your ships. I just think that the multibeam frigate should be special because its simply bad$$. And thanks alpha_centauri for agreeing with me on the ion color. Blue is good on the kadeshi it was the original color.

I like it but I think its too wide. Its bigger then the original and it has 2 less cannons. You said that the kadeshi have evolved and gotten stronger, so how would they go from 4 to 2 ion cannons? I think you should give it 2 more cannons in the same positions that the original had. Also make it do a barrel roll when it shoots. And as far as ion color goes, I think bule is fine because that was the original color.

i like it, but maybe you can make the ion cannon recessed in a little so that when you build it, its even with the shape of the cathedral, so that it doesn't stick out like a bump. Ive seen the needle mother-ship with hull defense guns that shoot rapid firing plasma bombs just to give you the idea..but overall i gotta say that this is an awesome model. i wish i was talented like you at making and texturing these things. oh and on the subsystem note. i think you can build them on those square shape part on the middle of the ship..i think you call it the central spire. and the resource drop off can be sum where along the tail.

i think its a good idea, but you already made so much improvement with the older keeper race. i just think that it would be good if you made it harder to get sajuuk. like more research to be able to build it and then make the build time a little longer because it is a massive ship. you can also make the unit cap on the dreadnought lower to like 3 units. that way people cant build too many and spam with phased ion cannons all over the place.

yea i forgot about that...they didn't introduce squadrons until hw2. im use to playing hw2 and i like how the fighters are in wings. but if its not possible with the kadeshi then i guess we will just wait and see what mololu does.

i understand what you mean, if you made the swarmers into a wing of 9 and the pod only has 6 docking pads then i see trouble and confusion when they try to dock. but on the other hand each swarmer being single unit i would think is really hard to micro manage. you would basically have to build how ever many you want in a wing and then assign a group to them so that you can move them together. does anyone know if the swarmers were single units in homeworld 1? i don't remember..and what are the pods for? are they for fuel?

i agree with Pouk. i like the idea of squadrons because i play the FX mod all the time and they have the swarmers in wings of 9 and i gotta tell you, they own all lol. they made the corvettes single ship units because they are heavier and stronger but slower then a swarmer but still fast. hig and vaygr have corvettes in 3 to 4 units and fighters are usually 5-7 units per wing. but since the kadeshi rely mostly on fighters to kill, the team at FX made the wings consist of 9 units which is pretty cool. i would make the kadeshi corvettes at least a wing of 2 just to have them be a pair hunting ships instead of being solo. but im just putting my 2 cents out there for you to work with. by the way awesome ships you have made, keep it up.

i agree. they are similar. so it would boil down to kadesh or taiidan. i think you should make a poll. and have everyone vote on which race they want. seems like a good idea right?

i agree, taiidans are a pretty cool race. we don't really need a remake of the kushans because they are basically the hig. but i do like the bentusi and the kadesh. i play the fx mod all the time because of the kadesh. there is also the turanics which we cant forget about. you could actually make 2 factions out of them too, like a stealth-capture faction with clocking abilities or a base defense faction, but i gotta agree with Pouk, i would like to see the bentusi in this mod only because many have tried to add a bentusi race but they never do it right or finish their mod. the only hard part is that the only have about 4 ships, the trade ship, the bentus, some sort of cargo ship that could be a resource collector and a super acolyte that fires 2 ion cannons. So if you made them payable you would have to make all their ships from scratch and then balance them with the rest. And im not pretty sure what their factions would be...all i know is that they would be kinda of similar to the progenitors with the majority of their ships having ion cannons as a main weapon.

i like this mod. its very good and i like how i can play with the progenitors. i just wanted to ask you, are you gonna fix the ships stats for the updated release. because i noticed the pro. dreadnought's top speed is like 789 or something similar. is it your intention to make all these ships super fast? the mothership is fast, the sleeper, almost all ships have high speed and incredible attack..lol. oh and are you gonna be adding engine trails for the fighters and corvettes? oh and by the way AWESOME effect on the progenitor gateway, i love how the gate glows and lights up when a ship is hyper-spacing in. awesome job keep up the good work.
