But, when they reclaimed their Homeworld and proclaimed themselves 'Hiigaran', they believed they had reached their goal. How wrong they were. 150 years after Hiigaran landfall, conflict rages across the Galaxy... Path to Victory is a multiplayer and skirmish mod for Homeworld 2 that adds new units to both Vaygr and Hiigaran Races as well as enabling the Keepers, Raiders and Kadeshi as playable races.
Renowned for its heavy armor, excellent performance and incredible firepower, the original Acolyte made it's name over a decade ago.
Over the years the Acolyte design has been extensively refined. The earlier Mass Driver mounted in the nose was replaced with a Kinetic Autocannon which can deal with targets of any type with equal ease, shredding even the heaviest armor plates in a barrage of high velocity slugs.
Furthermore, the old Missile Launch tubes that required manual re-loading after every volley have been improved with miniature assembly bays, allowing the Acolyte to re-arm on the fly.
As with the Dervish Multibeam Frigate, the Acolyte has been shared with the Imperial Fleet following Directive 817 and has proven to be an excellent single-target heavy hitter that can deal with virtually any foe. However, these advanced fighters are not easy to manufacture, requiring a number of non-standard parts in order to be assembled correctly.
Regardless of the high material cost, it is projected that the re-appearance of the Acolyte, now flown under the Banner of the Hiigaran Imperial Navy, will dramatically shift the balance of strike craft firepower in the Empire's favor.

Not a somtaaw one. They are not a seprarate race but part of the hiigaran empire.
i know I know,but a somtaaw BC will be awesome and useful to increase the fleet firepower to maximum.
I think the hiigarans will definitly not lack firepower after we're finished with them ;)
i still think the archangel was way better then any other hiigaran cap ship. actually almost all the somtaaw stuff seemed better then the main navy, but thats probably due to them being all on their own alot.
