Hello Ar2R-devil-PiNKy, 1st of all thank you for all these much needed fixes and making the game way much more enjoyable.

I had a great time playing it in Single Player, but now I ran into some issues. I'm trying to do a playthrough with 1 of my friends (already tried with another friend in December 2022) both of them were lagging/spiking miserably, I tried to host it and it was the same results for them on their end.

We all located in different places in the world.

Anyway, the retail/normal SS2 game works flawlessly in Multiplayer with my friend. But if we use your mod we spike like crazy, I don't know why :(

If my hosting friend doesn't move at all, my game doesn't lag/spike at all, but as soon as he moves my character is getting glitched left and right, that's so weird xD

Do you have any idea what could be doing that ?

I tried to find a full list of SS2's console commands and except cheats I didn't found anything.

I believe it maybe must be related to a somewhat something similar command like "plr_predict 1" or "cli_predict 1" or "net_predict 1" and I believe, maybe, turning prediction off could maybe fix my issue or it's maybe something else, I don't know.

If you could give me a little assist that would be really appreciated buddy :)

Best regards, Husky[BW]

Woah! Dude! That's an impresive amount of work and dedication you putted out there. I need to learn how to map for this game and create amazing content for the community just like what you are doing man!

I haven't played it, but soon enough. I will even grab a buddy with me to play it in Cooperative :)

I know your map is probably optimized for single player plays. I hope there's enough of mana's, potions, goodies for a shared fun with a game partner :P

Thank you so much for this ! And for keeping one of my very 1st and favorite childhood game I ever played.

Have a great weekend !

Hello whirledtsar, I'd love to say a big thank you for this awesome map ! I had fun playing it and solving your puzzles. Very decent, well designed, except the very beginning with the spiders was a bit.. mehhh... The platform even killed me once. But other then that, you map is a pure joy and i'm really happy that you shared your great work with us. You're talented ! A 40 minutes very well spent on my fav. childhood game ! If you ever plan making more maps I'll be down playing them !!! <3 5 *****

Hello there! First of all thank you very much for releasing such a great work! I'm very happy having the chance to play Quake 1 in HD :D

But right now I have an issue...

1 picture means 1000 words (Click on the link) : I.imgur.com

The gameplay is fine, the console is fine, but something is wrong with the menu text/ui scale is way insanely large, way too large. I can't navigate in the menu and I can't read the end game stats.

I looked on Google and Forums I've found nothing about my issue, so I thought the best would be asking right away here on how to fix this.

So if you got an idea on how I can fix this, please help me I'd be very happy =)

Thank you very much for reading me out !

Just completed it! Of course I know it's a "Work-in-progress" project and an Alpha release. I had fun playing it, hope this project still on the go.

The 1st level was great! It was a good idea to put riffs/mountain to climb on.

The 2nd level I enjoyed the fight with the 2 wizards protecting the entrance. But I was suprise to see how short the 2nd level was.

Played the map on "jsHexen II" engine and it worked like a charm <3

I personally prefer jsHexen II over UQE

Downloading it right now! I didn't knew there was a custom mission pack for Hexen II.

Can't wait to try it :D Thank you so much for posting this and to everyone who puts time and efforts into making this.

Cheers :D
