Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoy the mod. Myself and the mod team certainly have put in a lot of time and effort into it.

@ Fritz2828: Any luck yet? If there is no error message in hw2.log, I'm pretty much out of ideas!

v0.3 will be out soon, so hopefully you're sound problems won't carry over to the new release. If they do, I'm sure we can work together to figure them out.

Thats weird. I'm not exactly sure what the problem is. I'll be releasing v0.3 within a couple days, so I suggest waiting and trying it. Hopefully v0.3 will work properly for you. If it doesn't message me again and we'll figure it out!

@Fritz2828: I'm not quite sure what to tell you. Look in HW2.log and tell me if there are any errors. Do you have sound when you play vanilla HW2? I think it might be a problem with your system or the HW2 application, not with the mod itself.

I've never heard of this problem before. Anyone else have a problem with the sound?

Geez, I'm not sure whats causing all the crashes right now. I will do some playtesting and get it fixed ASAP. Please continue to post details of the crashes to help me replicate them on my computer.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Several significant bugs have been identified in this version, and I appreciate everyone taking the time to let me know about them. I will be releasing an update in the next week or two that should fix most of the issues that I know about, and maybe add some new content as well.

I know the pirate AI isn't the most challenging, and I'd love to make it work better. But it took me nearly 2 months full time just to get it to work at all! Now that I work full time, I don't have the time to dive into something that complicated (unless an experienced scripter wants to join the team). Besides, playing as the pirates is a lot more fun! :)

Anyone have any comments/suggestions for the pirates mod? How do you feel about the latest release? Post your feelings here!

I don't know why you don't have any sound. I haven't heard of anyone else having this problem.

Are you Audio volume settings correct? Do you get sound when playing vanilla HW2? Is there sound in the menu? Does the mod play properly EXCEPT for the sound? There are a couple other things I can try, but give me the answers to these questions first.

HW2 needs to be installed in the default directory for the shortcut to work. Follow the instructions in the readme if you have HW2 installed into a different directory. Also, the game must be patched to v1.1. You do not need the previous versions for v0.3 to work.
