Are you going to go for ion cannons? According to the lore,it was used to provide heavy fire support for larger ships or dirctly escort them,the role dependinng on the version of the armaments. If you give it at least some ion cannons,you could keep its role same as in the lore. Or do you have diffrent plans for this ship?

I was actually talking about heavy weapons:4 heavy triple turbos in the concept vs 10 in this version, 17 heavy dual turbos old vs 33 new. So that basically means that you have switched is role from the heavy all-rounder/close-range browler to the niche long-range battleship/carrier? And yeah,sorry for being extra nerdy

You have increased the amount of guns it the last iteration of this ship by like 2 or 3 times,when compared to the concept. Why?

This statement can be applied to the Nebulon-b's and cr90's. If this was a KDY-designed ship,why wouldn't they sell it to multiple parties?

Also,a-wings are apparently still used 30 years after their first appearance. It is almost impossible to find one right in the middle of the shot

Shouldn't the Liberty be the battleship version? Because,according to wookiepedia,it had the least amount of squadrons,and it had 48 dual heavy turbos,which is way more powerful than any of the victories and is actually is comparable to an isd,while stock MC80 or MC80a had 48 medium,which might not even be dual,while having about 2 times more starfighters onboard?

And if i was facing an ISD as a capitain of liberty in a "real" situation,i would overload my frontal sheilds and ram the hell out of its control tower,thus taking out its bridge,cic,primary sensor array,comms array and sheild generators in a single run,then dive under it and pummel its unprotcted reactor core and hangars until the ship melts down.

This is the toughest buildable rebel capital ship save for mc80b(which has a slightly different role) in the aotr 2.6 beta,and is more than a match against an isd1. If you will always stay at the broadside or rear of the isd and keep your sheilds up by using the ability,you will quickly bring its inferior sheilds down and start taking out its hardpoints,which will negate firepower superiority of the isd. So its pretty simple,without any thrawn-level tactics

These changes will basically turn it into the AAC. So are you going to use the AAC as the new medium tank of the NR, or you have some kind of a replacement?
