Does anyone know where the behavior for the different states (sleep, walk, wounded, etc.) is defined? I cant seem to find the right file.
I want to make wounded NPCs play pain sounds when hit (because they seem to randomly loop the wounded sound and ignore anything else happening around them).
My goal is to improve NPC reactions in general and I want to start with something simple like this.
I appreciate any help I can get.

I know. My point was that they start limping no matter where you shoot them. I wanted to make them limp after being shot >>in the leg<<.
Any answer or idea to the rest of the question?

Modding question:
I wanted to make enemies limp after being shot in the leg...as far as I understand the files this is not possible.
In the file m_stalker.ltx I have found a "limping_threshold" which has the value 0.8. I have already turned down the damage npcs take when shot in the legs and arms in the [stalker_damage] section and now I would need the threshold value explained. Does that mean that at 20% of health people start limping?
Is there the possibility of counting shots to a limb or such a thing as limb health?

Its not invisible, you are most likely standing above it. They are in a tunnel under the road, you have to walk off the road to the left or right and you should be able to see it.

Hello dear mod team,
I have played SoC back when it came out and enjoyed it a lot. I have replayed it six or seven years ago, using some mods and then played CS and CoP. For some reason (I suppose it is the story) I like SoC the most.
I have started to play Lost Alpha yesterday and am already into it :)
What I miss are those "injured"-animations and states, NPCs could go into when just being shot in the legs, for example (-> I shoot someone in both legs and he is lying on the floor, still moving and talking and not dying like it is now)...I think they were present in CoP. Are there any plans on expanding the shooting mechanics for NPCs to react more diversely when being shot in different zones of their bodies (like dropping weapons, crawling, lying on the floor etc.)?
BR and thank you,
Dan

Edit: I also have another question: somehow the character models and weapons are over reflective. They reflect light as if they were metallic or something. Is this a know issue? How can I fix this? I am using LA DC (latest version) and the extended pack and hd pack.
