What the hell happened to my nice gallery options? Why are all my mod's uploaded images categorized as "Comedy"? Why are my only choices for media categorization retarded? Why can't people see more than 6 of my mod's pictures at once?

Plasma is in for 003 and the minigun was already included in IC 002. Quad lasers will get in later, and we are going to have a "destabilizing" missile that causes everyone to spin around (with "GYRO OVERLOAD" beeping angrily on the hUD) like on a carnival ride.
Singleplayer isn't supported - yet. Sorry about that. Don't click on "New Game" unless you like staring at the console.
Consult the readme for play instructions. In our internal build we've already removed the "New Game" button so as to eliminate that particular "wtf?". You won't see any menu buttons that don't work in IC 003.

SilverCinder, you can easily play Descent 2 (and 1) on modern systems with source code ports like D2X-XL at Descent2.de . They released the source code for Descent ages ago.
As for the cockpit, we're thinking eventually that we'll have a full 3D cockpit instead of a simple texture overlay.

"Alpha" and "Beta" descriptors are somewhat vague (I mean, come on, Counter-Strike was a "beta" for seven whole versions).
We're going to stick with version numbers x.y.z, where z is a minor version number.
We're almost certainly going to make the main flames be translucent blue, however. Very low-key - at least until you whack the "afterburner" key
I haven't really looked into this yet but while it appears that joystick support of some kind is built into the Doom 3 engine, it may not be enabled or activated or whatever and IC may have to be keyboard & mouse only.
Exotic stuff like SpaceOrbs will function only as joysticks. The code for obtaining input from the user is not available for modding in the doom 3 engine - it's part of the core EXE and not the game DLL.
Note that the projectile model used in this screenshot is actually the original one for the rocket launcher from Doom 3, which we will NOT be using as it is obviously way too small. The real concussion missiles should fit snugly in the pods mounted on the Pyro's wings.
