The Gliza Union of Planets' first fighter able to operate both in space and in atmospheres up to 20 times as dense as that of the Earth, and it's also the first craft ever with a frame made completely of Thoranium, an incredibly strong Titanium alloy, mostly produced in the Gliese 581 system, thanks to the unusually high concentration of Titanium on its planets and asteroids. Unfortunately, this makes the aircraft ungodly expensive, only four have been built.
It carries two pulsed detonation engines in the inner engine pods and 2 plasma thrusters at the wingtips. It's capable of withstanding Superluminal travel, but doesn't carry its own subspace window generator.
It's armamanet consists of up to 8000 pounds, only 2000 if it's supposed to go to space, in missiles, as well as a single mass driver. It can be equipped with a single high-energy laser instead of the internal weapon bay.
It is able to withstand re-entry heat with ease, however, it cannot leave a planet with a gravity like Earth's or above on its own, it's however possible to mount a expendable launch system consisting of a scramjet and two aerospikes as well as three fuel tanks.
Reminds me of the Macross and Battle Tech fighter designs.
