Depends on the server Anddos, they set what the ping limit is. Try another.
For those of you having performance issues with a dual core CPU, set hl2.exe affinity to one core. If you don't know how read here:
People who are having a problem seeing servers.
Try unchecking "Show map list", make sure you're on the internet tab when you search. Also try using the server browser out of the game.
PVK II Was started in 2003, Most of the design documents were done in 2003 and 2004. This has been planned awhile. From my knowledge AoC was started or announced in 2005?
Simply because AoC showed a combat video showing off their system before us, does not mean we have not had it planned or in internal testing before that.
We did not steal anything from Age of Chivalry.

Jadams... We took nothing from age of chivalry. We were done our concepting stage before valandil split in half and age of chivalry even existed.
This was originally going to be for Half-Life 1, but we scrapped our progress (3 years ago about) and started to plan for Half-Life 2. I'm guessing you've never seen the original mod's Heavy Knight. Which has been out for awhile now for Half-Life 1.
Of course there are modern pirates, in this world and the digital world :P
But lets keep comments on the mod!
Comrade-Alucard... PVK II isn't going to pure realism! I find it degrading that you say that we know nothing about historical accuracies though, we even have a historian on the team. The Teams are pretty accurate within their own time periods if you were to just look at one by itself. I've even read the Viking sagas myself, and have alot of knowledge about Pirates, and the weapons they used.
Of course Vikings woulden't be fighting Pirates, or the time period these Knights are based upon! But that is the fun part, in this mod they are.
We are not constricting the teams to their own time periods! I Guess you never played the first PVK :P

NightSage, Looks like an actual map to me. The design is great so it pulls of a good anime like feel.

It has an Installer so you don't really need to worry about anything. And yes it works with Steam.
Yeh Fuzzy, I don't know whats going on but... We submitted our news on about the 14th to PHL but nothing so far. It kind of worries me. Maybe I'll try sending it again :(

But Crispy, PVK Is not an active mod development wise anymore. It's been stopped in the water for years in beta stage as some of the old team moved onto life / game industry / work etc...
